what the fuck is this bullshit

Don't judge.

MG, MG2:SS, MGS, and MGS2 follow the story of Solid Snake. After MGS2, there was to be no more focus of that particular Snake, so Kojima went back in time to focus on Snake's dad/clone, Big Boss. That's where MGS3 takes  place. After that game became a critical success (and Kojima admitted to liking BB more than SS), he decided to focus more on him than anything else. But there was a problem. People hated the way MGS2 ended. It was too ambiguous and meta, and after getting multiple death threats, Kojima decided to make MGS4. Which is why it's shit, but that isn't the point.

After that, he went back to focus on BB. Which is where we get Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes and the final act, The Phantom Pain.

i wish it would put the games in chronological order

It's 100x better to play the games in release order, though.

Sales are lower each year since Ghosts. I'm sure there will be a spike this year thanks to Zombies but I think in 3 years, we'll see other franchises take over.

Halo CE is one of the worst Halo games in terms of multiplayer.

Lol it isn't tho

Campaign for sure. Not multiplayer.

Well I should say I'm referring to online play, since spawns and all that are weren't built for tons of people.
On Blood Gulch you can spawn kill a team all day.

oic

that's okay then

Anime fight scenes literally don't count. Animated shit is stupidly easy to make fight scenes, at least make an effort and post some REAL movie fight scenes

I don't see any reason to make the distinction. The thread asked for "God-tier fight scenes". The amount of effort that went into creating them is irrelevant.

I'm not a fan of anime (save DBZ), but that's a ridiculous point to make because you presumably aren't a fan of the weebs.

Actually effort is VERY relevant. You wouldn't be so impressed with the Mona Lisa if it turned out to be a copy paste, would you?

Um, yes, considering that the brush work and lighting is still a very impressive imitation.

And that would only push my respect for the current Mona Lisa onto the original.

Besides, it's not like animators are "copy pasting" things that have been done before.
LMAO bullshit, if someone just copy-pasted the Mona Lisa, that's literally less than half the work that was put into the real one. Effort is extremely important, and anime fight scenes have the least amount of effort.

How would you quantify that? "Less than half the work"? How? Either way you're copying something, whether it be the painting or the person you're painting.

If it's an exact replica of the Mona Lisa, that still takes a FUCK TON of skill to do.

But that's beside the point, because your analogy is still BULLSHIT. They don't follow the same thread of logic. Animators aren't copy-pasting work that others have done, and effort does not matter when comparing quality. Fucking idiot.

I might put a ton of effort into choreographic a fight scene for a school play, does that make it good? No.

Sophie Turner, Hayley Atwell, Frederic Chopin, Superman and Big Boss.

I look like a young Snake but the similarities stop there.

I was never too keen on the WW2 shit, anyways. The only thing it could really offer me is the atmosphere, which Dice and all the other dudebro developers don't give a dusty fuck about.

At the end of the day, they're still going to incorporate this "future-tech" into an older setting.

FPS is an entire genre. One game maybe, but a whole genre? Now that's just silly.

>"these FPS games"

I didn't say the entire genre, I was talking about these kind of dudebro shooters.

But yeah, the entire genre can fuck off too.

Pretty sure CoD will be irrelevant in 3 years, max. Hopefully the same can be said for all of these FPS games.

My friends and I are always raving about the idea that they should just make new stories in their previous regions. Your rival from Johto becomes the new Team Rocket leader in Kanto or some shit.

I don't know, we just spitball.

Pretty much give us a new character and different starters (I.E. Hoenn starters in Sinnoh or some shit) and I'd be good.

Then there's also the idea of another XD-type game on Wii-U. I don't know why they don't work on one of those, Wii-Us would fly off store shelves.

Pretty sure everyone thinks Gen IV was the worst, actually.

If only because of the shitty cross-generational evolutions. I mean, today, I'm able to recognize that it was only done to make those Pokémon competitively viable, but still. They coulda done a better job with those.

Before the previous generation of Pokemon trainers left.

I.E. the people that grew up with Gen 1 and 2. They left before Gen 4 came out.
