Solid was cloned using Big Boss's dominant genes. So, yes. In a sense, Solid is a clone of Big Boss.

Additionally, I joined the Arbiters of Hexis and got to the Principled Rank. I also have a Boltor, Clan Key and a Heat Sword in the foundry. I've unlocked Phobos and Sedna as well.
My plan from here on out is to farm for Oberon parts for the blueprint, and work my way towards completing every mission and quest. Once I have sufficient weapons and gear, I plan on farming for the Loki Prime parts in the Void. I have my eyes on the Hexis Syandana as well, but that's a ways off.

It's nice to see more people making MGS threads, Boss. Though I still think it's limited to the two of us.
My favourite MGS is the original, Metal Gear Solid, hands-down. It's easily one of the best games of all time.
My least favourite is MGS4, for obvious reasons that I've ranted on multiple times to no one's interest. MGS3 would be my least favourite were it not for the story, though. The gameplay is just fucking boring, and I couldn't bring myself to replay it when I was doing my binge-playthrough during Christmas.
Anyways, here's the order of my favourite to least favourite MGS games.

Nono, impact is meant for taking out shields. It's that shields aren't prominent enough in enemies to really justify taking a weapon solely for impact, when you could just use cold or magnetic elements mods.
OIC. Well the Karak seems to be working decently well. What else do you recommend? I'm more interested in upgrading my Vitality and Redirect so I can withstand some of these Corpis shotgunners, man. As soon as I'm the right level I'm moving into the void to get my Prime parts.

Well there's no real best, in terms of damage. Like puncture is good for standard grineer, but not so much against corpus or infested. I won't lie, even I'm confused by all of it, because I haven't seen a cut and dry system of what lets you know what works unless you scan enemies for your codex.
Also, i forgot to mention, that message you got is what you get after killing bosses. You get marked as a target by a special enemy that will randomly invade you on a mission.

But what I wanted to mention, if it hasn't been said already, impact damage is generally regarded as the worst damage type (which is a shame cuz some of my favorite weapon designs are mainly impact damage).

I joined the Arbiter of Hexis syndicate. I also obtained the Mag Helmet and Rhino Systems blueprints, so... yeah. I got a weird email in my inbox from someone saying "There are consequences to your actions" after curb stomping Venus.
I have my eyes on the Telos Akbolto and Telos Syandana from my syndicate but I don't know how long it'll take me to get there. I also obtained a Heat Sword that I need one more material to craft.

Yeah he has a few. Nut we keep trying to get a few prime parts with no luck.

Size Matters was okay, but it was kinda watered down. They had a third party work on it, and it really does have that "new dad trying to act like your old dad" feel to it. It's weird. Don't bother with Secret Agent Clank.
Buying collections is kinda sketchy. If you wanna just save money, fine, but with these kinds of ports, you're obviously gonna come across various problems. R&C Collection has some frame rate issues, graphical oddities here and there, and the music doesn't loop properly. Just be aware of that.
Yeah all 3 of the PS2 icon's ports were handled poorly. I mean, the frame rate is 60FPS on all the MGS games, too, but it doesn't drop like it does in Ratchet and Clank (ESPECIALLY Up Your Arsenal). I still think they're the best version to play, though. Trophy support and colour correction.

All MG/S games, except Snake's Revenge, PO, and Revengeance (and obviously GZ and TPP) are in the Legacy Collection.
Oh yeah, I was thinking about the HD Collection. As for InFamous, like I said, I can't recommend it. But maybe you'll like it, IDK. I would still play some of the other games people have suggested before playing it. List of priorities, IMO: MGS Games (MGS1-MGS4, including PW) Ratchet and Clank Games (Deadlocked can be skipped) Jak and Daxter games (The Lost Frontier can be skipped) ///// Anything else. But that's just me, maybe.

Okay I just unlocked the Archwing Quest line for Ranking up to level 2. Not going to start it until my friends get to where I am but I'm doing some good farming and making good process.

I have a Karak auto-rifle in the Foundry as we speak (7hs left, and counting), and I have my eyes on buying some Platinum for the Akbolto. I need to get to Jupiter/Saturn (don't remember which one) for a Neural Sensor so I can craft my Heat Sword.

Jak & Daxter Collection (is The Last Frontier any good? It's PS2/PSP only).
It's a decent game, but not a great Jak and Daxter game. Most fans hate it, though, and don't really consider it canon.

InFamous is dated, I can't recommend it. Especially after playing Second Son (though I don't know if you have played that or not).
R&C Collection, and potentially Deadlocked if you like the arena-styled missions from R&C2/3.
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction/A Crack in Time -- ACIT is the magnum opus of the series, IMO.
Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus -- the latest R&C game, sequel to ACIT. Not all that great but not horrible either. Fun enough to sink a few hours into.
Jak and Daxter Collection.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance -- pretty shit Metal Gear game but fun enough to sink a few hours into. Bought it at Gamestop for $5.
Metal Gear Solid/Metal Gear Solid 4 -- I'm pretty sure MGS1 comes with the Legacy collection, and they just added MGS4 to the PS Store. Must-plays if you want to understand MGSV, or just have a good time in general (MGS4 less so, but whatever.)
