And the mechanics of Halo 1 pissed me off a lot too, but that's just age. I'm aware how good it was at the time. It's still the best, even in today's standard. But I don't wanna talk about it. But to follow up what you said, how would he even do Metal Gear Solid 1 with Big Boss around? That seems... odd. Unless you meant Metal Gear 1/2 to bring it all around.
That's what I'm saying... we'll never know what he meant. I'm guessing that the changes he would make with MG1/2 rectons would be so drastic that it could be plausible for BB to be the protag of MGS1-4. I would have really liked that. It's pretty obvious he likes Boss more than Solid.

He planned the original remakes? God that sucks. We'll probably get it, but not have that same magic.
Yeah, he planned to redo the entire Metal Gear franchise, with Big Boss being the protagonist the whole way through. Like, BB would be the main character in MG1~MGS4.
