Yeah, we had our Nova pretty much carry us the entire way >.>
Excalibur, Volt P and Nyx the rest of the squad. We finished it but damn it felt long.

In Man of Steel, when Zod is talking in Kal's mind, Kal can be seen wearing a black version of his Superman costume.
My hypothesis is that the Kryptonian class-system dictates what colour undersuit one wears. Jor wore a blue suit, Zod wore black. Respectively, they were scientist and (military) leader.
Considering Clark was natural birth and not Codex-derived, Zod may have been unsure as to how he should indentify Kal, and gave him an undersuit similar to his own.
Snyder is a visually brilliant director.

I'm giving Peace Walker another try via emulation.
I'll see how I like it now that I've gotten a liking to Ground Zeroes.
Keep us updated.

Y'know who I hope isn't in TPP?
Fucking Solidus.
Why? It wouldn't surprise me if he was in the game. Or turns out to be Ishmael.

The same could be said about you. No, it couldn't. Cheating is only wrong if there is a negative consequence. You believe the game being ruined is the consequence, but that isn't objective and is of no value to me or anyone else. Simply saying "Cheating is wrong because cheating=wrong" is what I meant about non-critical thinking. Wrong. If you say "okay", what you're implying is that you have no problem with what was been stated. That's not how I meant it. ...Yes it is. If you buy a game, you're consuming it. Except you can't run out of that game. It's endless. A bag of Cheetos isn't - you will run out of Cheetos if you consume them. False. If I take a piss on the Mona Lisa, it's ruined. It doesn't matter who the fuck thinks it isn't ruined--it IS ruined. "Only my opinion matters because I'm a boy scout who doesn't want to break the rules." - Verbatim I could say that I enjoy seeing piss on the Mona Lisa. I don't, but regardless of what you think, my opinion is just as valid as yours.

I've never met anyone who is too stupid to understand why cheating is a bad thing. You sound like a child whose mother told her that "cheating=bad" but never put any critical thought into why. I've even stated it like, three times.
It. Ruins. The game. Not everyone thinks that way. Some people enjoy the unrestricted version of Pokemon. If you do things just because they're "fun", and nothing else, then yeah, to me, you're just another typical dumb, ego-driven human. Just because something is "fun" doesn't make it okay. And just because something is "fun" doesn't make it NOT okay. Unless there's a negative consequence for the action, it's okay. But it's NOT okay. So that would be a lie.
"Okay" = Acknowledgement Yes. Your shitty experience that is worse off than someone who's played the game right. Cool. "I've paid for Cheez-its before, and I liked them, so I don't need to pay for them now." Pokemon isn't a consumable like Cheez-its. Stupid comparison. Ruining games is an objectively bad way to enjoy them. "Ruin" is subjective. It's your prerogative to be wrong. It's your prerogative to believe that it is my prerogative to be wrong. Then why cheat at all? Because as you so "eloquently" put it: "durrrr FUN FUN!" Yeah, how about that? "Fun" being a primary concern in regards to "entertainment". Not good enough. The game is MORE fun if you DON'T cheat. So why cheat? Not everyone shares that belief, Verb. Some people like breaking the rules. Your definition of what's fun and what isn't is not law. I probably did it 4 or 5 times by now, actually, yeah.
Not once.

Because you're taking away from the experience of the game. MY experience. This isn't that complicated. Maybe if you played the game properly, you'd see that it's a lot fucking better if you don't ever cheat. Ever. Um... I only started emulating in the last couple of years. Meaning, I've played all of the games straight before I ever "cheated". So... it's not like I don't have a frame of reference on "fun." So go and play those, then. They were apparently made for you. Wow. How the fuck isn't it. Because it's my prerogative as the player to enjoy the game however I see fit? Lol. I don't know how many other ways I can phrase this. What? The POINT of cheating is to REMOVE limitations. And as you so "eloquently" put it, you have to put limitations on your cheating as to not go overboard ("Level 100 Charizard before the game even begins.") And it's a lot fucking more fun, and appreciative, than what you're doing. Cool man. Cheating is ALWAYS a problem. I haven't created anything.
You've yet to actually justify this statement at all.

Yes, I'm a cheater, I don't care, it doesn't hurt anyone, I like to have fun, Unless you're going to prove that there's something wrong with that, your whole presence here holds no water. I'm a dumbfuck egoistic human." I don't see how that follows. Kind of a dick move, too. That's all he said. What am I supposed to say to that. "Okay."

I guess downloading emulators isn't illegal
Wouldn't it be? It's "stealing" the company's software to run the ISOs, right? I use the term "stealing" here very loosely.

Which is an idiotic and toxic mindset, but whatever. I can't really change that. You could change it by proving your assertion, actually. I don't see how something having no negative side effects can be a bad thing. No one wants to--but that's the fucking game. That's part of the experience. If you don't like it, you shouldn't play it. Actually it's being phased out of the most recent Pokemon games. They're making grinding less and less necessary thanks to stuff like Super Training and EXP shares. Grinding is necessary to enjoy the other parts of the game, sure. But just speeding it up is of no consequence. The only thing I ever do is nuzlockes, and no, it most certainly is NOT the same thing. At all. I didn't equate them like that, I only meant that nuzlockes require the same sort of limitations as cheating. They both require you to say "Okay, here, I draw the line. Here, I won't do this." etc., etc. I'm setting limitations to make the game harder, without cheating. Cool man. Then don't do it. Problem solved.
Except there wasn't a problem until you created one.

which you've conveniently ignored--you can't defend the fact that it's cheating I didn't ignore anything, I concede that it's cheating. I just don't care because it doesn't affect anyone. Moderate yourself? At some point, you're gonna become overleveled, and you'll just be able to steamroll over everyone before you even reach Pewter fucking City. I only EV train after beating the game, so. . . But hypothetically, it's still a grind to EV train during the story. It's just less of a grind. You know when you're training for the next gym, and you're just itching to do it, but you say, "No, I gotta get all my 'Mons to [this] level beforehand."? It's like that, just faster. No one wants to spend 5 hours grinding when they can spend 20 minutes instead. You've admitted to doing Nuzlockes before, right? Same thing. You set limits and standards for yourself, too. Why wouldn't you if you're just gonna cheat anyway?
Because it's not fun, that's why. To be honest, the cheating part doesn't matter because it doesn't affect anyone; it's of no consequence. The better argument for you to lean on would be the "it's stealing" shtick but even then, it's not worth the time.

wat If you can just guarantee that your team is perfect, why even fucking play?
How does that guarantee anything...? You still need to pick the right moves, breed the right Pokemon, face the right opponents... It's not like it matters because those 'Mons can't be transferred.
15863
« on: August 13, 2015, 12:50:01 PM »
Though, once you get used to EV-training your 'Mons at 500% speed, it's hard to go back to regular gameplay.
See, that's just ruining the game at that point.
Why even play if you can just guarantee success by speeding up the game (which is cheating)? Fuck that shit.

They're pretty easy to find, actually, but whatever. Regardless of who gets the money, an emulator cannot emulate the experience of playing a genuine, physical copy of a game.
They're hard (expensive) to get new, but I agree. Having the GameBoy in your hand is the best experience. Though, once you get used to EV-training your 'Mons at 500% speed, it's hard to go back to regular gameplay.

What's the benefit of giving money away to people who did nothing to produce it?

Emulate anything that came out before Diamond and Pearl (FireRed/LeafGreen/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald). or you could pay money for it like everyone else
You can't buy those games new.

Don't you mean
Some people enjoy grinding, you know.
What the hell is grinding?
Same thing as farming, essentially.
