Fixed it. I'm still not entirely happy with the bangs, but it's within an acceptable margin of error (mostly because I don't want to fuck it up anymore than it is and it's 1 AM.)

This one turned out much better. Probably going to go back and fix up my last sketch.

And I am saying that the number of parents is irrelevant.

Don't let your emotions cloud your judgement. Two parents are always better.

More importantly it's better when the two parents actually agree on the values they want to instill upon their children. You have a good head on your shoulders in this regard. From what I can tell, your ex-wife does not. That's a problem that you really got to make the best of, unfortunately.

I am going to have to disagree with you. There isn't a "good" family value. Just family values. And couples have very little to do with said values.

That's a little pedantic, but alright. The government should be rewarding couples for perpetuating family values, and marriage is a good way to demonstrate that your partner is significant enough to be considered family.

Parents pass on their values to their children if they're convincing enough, so yeah, couples have everything to do with it.

Nope. Single parents do a great job.

I never said otherwise.

TBH, I don't get the whole marriage thing anymore. Basically it's saying you want someone else all to yourself so badly you want to involve the government. I had a 17 year long marriage. 2 kids and a house. Marriage doesn't mean they stay. It's pointless if you ask me.
It's only pointless when one or more parties doesn't understand how to love someone in action. Love is consistently putting someone else before yourself no matter what comes in return. Love is letting your mother lash out on you emotionally because she's been stressed out for weeks and you'd rather her take it out on you than someone else in the family. Considering what I know of your first wife I'd say she doesn't really understand this concept and stopped "loving" you the moment the feeling went away.

People in marriages look at their partner as a romantic interest instead of a family member and that's the worst possible way to go about it. Romance fades, the love you have for your family doesn't.
i don't disagree with any of this, but where does marriage itself actually come into play here

my parents have been together for 25 years, unmarried

I suppose the marriage aspect is little more than an "official promise," but I'd still say it's necessary. It's a little more permanent than simply being in common law, and that's why you're entitled to tax breaks and stuff. The government should be rewarding couples for perptuating good family values.

I'm not sure if that's a good enough answer for you, but it's the best I got.

I'm always surprised by the internet's ability to take any feminine character, no matter how dignified, and just sexualise the fuck out of her for no good reason. That being said, I did my best.

I am struggling so hard with figuring out how to start learning to color/paint digitally. I've really gotta look for some resources to learn from.

What exactly are you struggling with?
I hesitate to start learning to color because I don't have any real foundation to begin from. Any coloring I do is entirely experimental and not based on any real resource. The styles of coloring I would like to achieve are at the other end of a long road for me and I have a real problem with starting to learn anything I'm not good at.

Hmm. I assume I'll have the same issue once I transition to digital art. I found this online awhile back that might help you out? I don't know, but it seems like a good reference to have anyway.

Has the creator said anything about this

you know how kishimoto likes to take his time with his plot setups. took almost 400 manga chapters (11 years) for madara to appear.
Yeah, but in Boruto, Teuchi is already dead.

but is teuchi immortal

are his methods supernatural

The only thing off the top of my head they could have included would be the Twilight Princess Zora Armour and the Skyward Sword pajamas but neither of those are very interesting either (the former is only somewhat enticing).

Gay

at least it's free

I mean, I initially was let down, too. But what could they have offered instead that would have been more appealing? All of the older tunics are available (via Amiibos unfortunately, but still) as well as a few fun outfits like Sheik and Tingle. If you didn't know, we're also getting the Wind Waker starting tunic once Ballad of the Goddess drops

so what else could they have gone with?

That's pretty cool. I welcome free DLC like this, and considering Monolith is responsible for the open-world's design, this seems like a genuine token of gratitude and support for the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 team. I just hope it's not like the Season's Pass DLC in that it can't be upgraded.

Language is just a bunch of meaningless symbols that we collectively attach arbitrary meaning to.
Probably because a group of people speak it as their native language so we attribute it to them???? Lemme get my homeboy Skull Face to tell you why language is important.

this could have been a funny reference if you didnt suck so much
