Okay, so essentially, the destruction at the end of Ground Zeroes is extremely devastating, especially after you carefully crafted and bonded with it's development in the previous game, Peace Walker.
Kaz and Snake had spent years building it up, creating their "Nation without Borders". This point is further illustrated if you listen to the many tapes Ground Zeroes comes with. It's their baby, their way of life.
Their comrades, killed in coldblood.
So you can imagine when, nine years later, Big Boss wakes up and finds his best friend without an arm or a leg, is pretty fucking pissed off and ready for revenge.

what's this whole "solid snake" and "liquid snake" and whatever shit? Both Liquid and Solid Snake were members of a United States military branch known as FOXHOUND, where every member is given a rank (Snake, Ocelot, Raven, etc.) and an identifier that they choose (Solid, Liquid, Revolver, Vulcan, etc.) Naked Snake, the "father" (or, the original specimen from which Liquid and Solid were both cloned from), who would eventually become the titular antagonist of the series, Big Boss, was also the individual who started FOXHOUND and gave Solid his rank, as he was his "son." Presumably, Liquid, who joined FOXHOUND after Solid retired, chose "Liquid" to demonstrate his opposition to Solid. is there a gas snake too? No, there is no "gas" Snake. There is a Solidus Snake, a clone who was extracted a few years after the first two. Kojima thought "Gas Snake" was stupid, and he was right.

Just watched the Kojima trailer and... OMG
I get the feeling he knows Konami will probably milk MGS when he's gone, so he's going to let folks pretend that V is the last canonical game.
Yeah, well... the only way I plan on playing any more MGS games is if 1. they look cool and get good reviews 2. they're remakes in the fox engine both of which I will only buy used. Best case scenario: Konami goes broke in the West and sells its rights to MGS to Kojima, to which he remakes all the games with Big Boss the way he intended.

the little pads aren't even fully attached to the rubber mat. Two of them had broken off.
Fixed it now though. I just glued all four little pads to the back of the d-pad.
Good. Did you look up a guide or something? Every time I try to fix one of my controllers I fuck it up, lol. BTW did you decide if you're getting TPP next week or no?
