The black market exists and isn't very hard to access. Yeah, it just happens to be far more expensive. Or as I would say, more difficult. Your claim is that by taking away gun rights (which many countries have done), that we'll eventually lose freedom of speech or religion. Which is a far greater assertion than "If we take away gun rights, it'll be harder for criminals to get weapons (which is an absolute truth) and maybe we'll have a slight decrease in mass shootings".
