It's not like an insult or a lot of bad threads, where a few edits and an apology can fix everything.
Once something is spoiled, it's done. There's not coming back from that. At. All.
If the punishment is too light, given game's release date time difference, people are just going to post spoilers right around the release date for every big game that comes around.

i can forgive accidental spoilers though, as long as they aren't anything important.
Of course, any one of us (or all 3 of us, to be effective) would be ideal fits for the job idea like, obviously I can forgive accidental spoilers. And I have proof of this. In my Street Fighter thread, Sandtrap accidentally posted Quiet spoilers. Thankfully, I hadn't read past the first few words, but I kindly asked him to spoil tag his post. Done. Fucking. Deal. I'm glad he did it, he responded kindly, and that was that. But then Gats comes along with his dick out, lathering himself up in MGSV spoiler oil, and sliding around more than phil kessel in the playoffs
