This forum-specific monitor (I'd rather mod) is an exceptionally good idea.
The reason Verb wasn't made a monitor a few days ago was because of his "out-bursts", which all either took place in Serious or the Flood.

Metal Gear was the only game I really cared about spoilers for, because I'm so invested in the story (like, ridiculously so. I study MG lore more than my school textbooks).

I know, but at least the other people in the thread wouldn't be. I'd rather know the entire MGSV plot 2 months ago if that meant no one else would have it spoiled for them. It's a mitigation of the effects.

I mean... I like that, too, but the trouble with that kind of system is that it wouldn't be very conducive to fluid discussion, and it may disincentivize some people from posting at all because the OP might take too long to look over the post.
I guess I'm looking at this in a more subjective sense, because I know for a fact I've been extremely active in my own thread that the "overlooking" of people's comments wouldn't slow it down too much. We were already having derail problems with Challenger, that could've been completely avoided with this option. It's not a perfect option I know.

afterwards only real spoilers count
or just give OPs the ability to remove/edit posts in their own thread.
