i'm not saying they deserve the label, nor am i saying we should dislike them simply because they are disliked and were voted the worst company in america (i don't even understand how you could miscontrue my argument that badly but whatever)
exercise some self control you convictionless whiney drone and drop the developer like you should have years ago when they were crowned worst company in america for yet another consecutive year.
I mean... brah...
being crowned the worst company in america is indicative of something
But we shouldn't dislike them simply because they're disliked.
correct

Pretty awkward position to get right. The legs are really fucking me up, but I'm trying to master upper body placement now. In that regard I think I'm making good progress.

We all know that, lmao. I wouldn't be so sure. I'm sure you get it, but other people, who don't argue with him as often, really don't. That was my point.

I understand and share that sentiment to an extent, but having read his posts it seems that he hates it even within the context of a loving relationship, and outright denies it can be positive in any way.
Are we reading different posts? He's acknowledged the benefits of sexual activity within relationships. He just believes there are other ways of achieving those benefits besides intercourse. Everyone takes his ascerbic posts at face value instead of looking beyond to the meat of his opinion and I just don't get it. A lot of you guys need to start separating the ideas from the person spreading them. Could Verbatim be a little less hostile (and thus, more effective)? Yes, but that's just not his style.

Why do we need the ESRB rating system anyway
Can't developers just use their own discretion based on the standard set by the ESRB?

Does the last airbender count as anime
nope
wasn't made by a japanese studio
if it were an anime, it would be my favorite
So it has to be Japanese to be considered anime
basically
the word "anime" literally just means "animation" in japan, so in their tongue, everything is an "anime"
there's some debate about the stipulations, which is why some people opt to say "japanese animation" if you want to be crystal clear
I would have said the "anime" label pertains a number of themes/tropes/cliches found in a great deal of Japanese media, and thus some American animation could be considered and anime (likewise, some Japanese animation could "transcend" anime.)

The only thing worth celebrating is that you're one year closer to death.

Paul Crocker, the lead writer for Batman: Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins is the new narative director for Halo.
I haven't played the Arkham games, so what are we looking at in terms of writing quality here?
You could say he's a... crock.

I learned a long time ago that just because you're not the best at something doesn't mean you're the worst at everything. The implication your girlfriend could be making by suggesting a swap is that you're no good or are boring in bed, but clearly she still wants to be with you despite this. Take solace in the fact that you provide something someone else can't.
And that's only if that's really what she means if she asks, which she very well couldn't because she could have as fragile an ego as you. I don't know.

last of us 2 is gonna suck lmao
What sucks even more is that its entire existence retroactively ruins the ending of the first game.
Woah, explain.
The ending of TLOU is left intentionally ambiguous and it's brilliant. We don't know if Ellie's "Okay." means she believes what Joel told her, or if it means she acknowledges she can't trust him. Clearly, it's the latter, based on a small skit the actors performed and the trailers for TLOU2, and that really sucks and pretty much ruins the best thing TLOU had going for it.

It's pretty fucking sad that those are the only games we can choose to be "most anticipated" for. Honestly at this point it's just Shinobi Striker and Dragon Ball Fighterz.

I have to admit Mario 64 hasn't aged well. I don't understand this. I played it for the first time only a few years ago and loved it. I'd say it's aged perfectly well.

Man this was a really weak year.
How do you figure lol
Nothing really notable or interesting came out. I only got Destiny 2 because literally nothing else this year has interested me.
Pretty retarded reasoning dude

so what are the chances we get nakatsuru/takahashi as the character designer in a few months? takahashi's mentions are still blowing up with praise 2 weeks after his episode there's no way toei doesn't do something about this
literally all of my issues with Super's animation have stemmed from Yamamuro's garbage tier character design (but Super's schedule doesn't really help. I'd be cool with a couple month hiatus following the conclusion of TOP just to get them back on track).

yeah i cant really get down with your opinion on SM64. the sound design still holds up so well to this day -- birds chirping, the different footsteps sounds, marios multitude of grunts and sayings. i dont think the repurposed levels really detract from the game all that much, and despite a few sections that could have used more direction (like the one star you need to shoot yourself at a random corner of a wall for) theres very little hand holding to be had. what does grate on me over time is the reuse of certain songs for different levels. dire dire docks, magic carpet ride, these songs should have been saved for certain levels only.
i think that sunshine really improves on most of these issue but it also brings more issues to the table. a port to the switch with dual analog support would be blessed for SM64 so i can really focus on getting every star in this damn game.

You get my respect for drawing so much. I expect you to improve very fast if you keep this pace up.
The activity in this thread is one of the things driving me to continue drawing through depression, even if it is mostly the same old shit for the time being, and only a little each day. Thanks for that, everyone.
Was fucking around and turned one of my face practices into some elf girl. Maybe this could become an actual character someday.
Pretty dope designs. I love anything having to do with eyes.
