The problem with dropping ea is they hold the licenses to a lot of fan favorites. If the past is any indicator they'll buckle under the pressure they receive from consumers and find some other way to fuck us over later. You can live without the latest Star Wars game, dude. EA won't hold the licenses if everyone dropped the publisher. Unfortunately you're not going to change things by not purchasing their games, they are going to make money one way or another. How do they make money if people don't buy their games? They can go the route of THQ for all I care.

PUBG in early access is better than every other game out this year, except for Mario which I haven't played yet.
PUBG is good and all but considering it's unfinished I really don't think it should be considered for GOTY. And if they had waited another year until it releases, they would have stood a chance of actually winning.

You'd also think it'd be much easier to implement some sort of government regulation type thing where publishers can face penalties for misrating their game or something as opposed to having a 3rd-party who can abuse the system like they are. If a studio advertises their game for children and then has M-worthy content, wouldn't that constitute false advertising?
I guess I just underestimated the value of ESRB. I've literally never used it.

i mean games have been around long enough that we know what constitutes "M" and "T"
the ESRB kinda exists because devs and publishers were exploiting the fact that there wasn't any kind of rating body and the industry didn't want the government to step in and regulate it for them
How could they exploit it? I dunno I'm not really the kind of person to even acknowledge the ESRB rating so I've never seen its merit.

i haven't played it beyond the demo, but i can just tell by the way it is that it's the weeb game that every weeb says is the best game ever because they're weebs (along with persona 5)
i mean, it's not a mind blowing game by any means but i can't really see any good reason why PUBG or Horizon Zero Dawn are more deserving of consideration we all know this year is a competition between two nintendo products so it's not a huge deal.

So you guys know how I bought 4 of those Amiibo cards? Well they came in the mail within a day (despite being ordered sans Amazon Prime through no special transit service) and worked well so I gave them a glowing reveiw. The seller just emailed me and thanked me for my reviews, and offered me two extra cards for no additional cost. Which ones should I go with?

It's pretty amazing to see the strides snake has been making. If I wasn't such a pessimist I could use him as motivation to better myself.
Thank you. I'm all about the grind. I'm still not satisfied and I won't be for a very long time, but I'm glad people seem to be taking notice of my work. You just gotta practice discipline. Fuck motivation. That shit comes and goes. Consistently giving it your all has no negative consequences, and you're building a habit of excellence by doing so. Not to preach or anything, but I used to struggle with working hard a lot more than most people. So now that I've overcome that I feel like I have superpowers. I dunno.
