i do prefer it when stories don't try to explain everything and just leave things up to viewer interpretation, tbh

like metal gear?

cuz the convolution from metal gear games comes from two things: 1) the translation issues, and 2) the game's unorthodox way of pushing it's theme

if you mean "the games don't come out and say "this character is gay" but allude to it then, yeah, metal gear subtly does those kinds of things

I think the only game that was intentionally left things to viewer interpretation was MGSV. But even "intentional" may be pushing it.

Good one.

An apt imitation, I must say.

LOL "train"? What the fuck, this isn't Dragon Ball Z.

You only need to exercise critical thought, dumbass. Obviously not everyone has this ability inherently. It needs to be learnt. That's what I meant.

And for the record, if a new Splinter Cell (that looked even better than Blacklist) was announced, I'd be using a Sam Fisher avatar. I don't know why you seem to think people can only like one franchise, you're worse than Star Trek vs Star Wars nerds.

I'm actually interested in playing the Splinter Cell games. How and where do I start?
I'd say start with the first game (Splinter Cell) just so you can really enjoy how fucking good Chaos Theory is. Pandora Tomorrow after Chaos Theory.

Play Double Agent if you still really want a SC stealth game, Conviction if you want action. Blacklist is still more actiony than the Xbox SC games, but it's definitely better than Double Agent or Conviction.

Where can I play Splinter Cell? what platform

You're in here fangirling for him right now.

In what world are fangirling and white-knighting synonymous?

LOL Why are you so mad?

Born into a life of pain and brutality, I'm haunted by the voices of my past. I killed my own parents when I was just four years old. Now, I thirst for the blood of the innocent as my life spirals into the bowels of hell.

They're both excellent games. Far better than Metal Gear.

Sorry, I didn't know I needed special training to play a shitty game LOL shut the fuck up and stop embarrassing yourself.

You don't need physical training to play the games (actually, you might). But to understand the literary complexity of the narrative? Absolutely.

I mean I'm literally arguing with a bunch of people that have a man crush on the protagonist.

The only person you're arguing with is Aria.

So. . .

And it's not a "man crush". It's a full-on erection. Get it right.

I have no aversion to sexuality (other than what it tries to encourage: sex, and by extension, childbirth). Probably because of the way I was raised; my parents were very open about that sort of thing.

I slowly see it becoming less indecent to discuss sex, though.

OT: Yes.

Bioshock Infinite is terrible tbh

I couldnt get more than a half and hour into it without wanting to stop. After the 6 or 7th hour I just didn't see the point.

I probably shouldn't have been so trigger happy in MGS3. I'm conflicted as to whether The Sorrow is an excellent boss or  dumb one because of it.

But hey, I got his camo, so...

Fun fact

In the mountain range (where you have to avoif the Hind), there's a soldier being eaten by a Vulture. If you kill and eat the Vulture, when you face The Sorrow, that soldier and the Vulture will show up and be like "You ate me! You ate me!"

Pretty neat huh

however, whenever you try to use the upload avatar option, it uses a super low-res image for some reason

any fix?
