I went back and put my top 5 in bold.

As a recommendation thread, I'd rather leave all recommendations available. That way it applies to anyone looking for games.

Awesome. Thanks.

DonkeyKong64
DiddyKongRacing

DiddyKong Racing is sick, but I've never beat it.
As a kid I was always afraid of the final boss when he was behind me, it felt like a T-Rex was chasing me with it's shakes coming closer and closer towards me.

Wizpig? Yeah, I never got to face him. I couldn't find the secret key in the damn dragon boss battle sector.

I see you are just in time to throw mud on Halo and shine Big Boss's muddy combat boots.

If that's how you wanna take it, sure.

Added.

I may not play all these games, but I will try my hardest to get to the absolute must-plays. Maybe I'll have a vote on which game I should play next or something.

I don't know. The next game I'm starting tomorrow is Ocarina of Time, followed by Majora's Mask. After that, we'll see.

I added Super Mario Sunshine to the list because I actually want to beat it this time. Every time I would try to get past the tutorial while waiting for my happy meal to finish at McDonalds. Stupid 20 minute cutscene.

Actually, any game that has a Metacritic score of 1 deserves to at least be played once.

Added Big Rigs to the list.

N64: Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Goldeneye, Space Invaders.

Xbox/Gamecube/PS2: Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man.

I added everything except Ultimate Spider-man. I've played it before and I'm not feeling a replay ATM.

So, I just recently set up my Playstation 1 and Nintendo 64 so I can go back and replay some of the classics I've missed (or feel like replaying). Trying to reignite the passion for games that I once had.

I was hoping you guys could suggest some stuff for me to play.

* = Replaying for reviewing purposes

Playstation 1:

-Crash Bandicoot 2*
-Crash Bandicoot 3*
-Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
-Spider-man 2000*
-Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing
-Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
-Lego Racers
-Atlantis: The Lost Empire
-Duke Nukem: Time to Kill
-MediEvil
-Tenchu: Stealth Assassins
-Suikoden II
-Einhander

Nintendo 64:

-Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
-Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
-Banjo Kazooie
-Banjo Tooie2
-Conker's Bad Fur Day
-Donkey Kong 64
-Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
-Paper Mario
-Perfect Dark
-Jet Force Gemini

GameCube1:

-Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
-Spider-man 2
-Luigi's Mansion
-Super Mario: Sunshine
-Hulk: Ultimate Destruction
-Metroid: Prime

1 I do not own one yet, but I will soon.
2 Dependent on how I like Banjo Kazooie.

The Mammal Pod requires some explanation, though. That and some of the tapes are the only bits OP might get puzzled on.

Well obviously. But Mordo is smart enough to put two and two together in those instances. He won't be entirely lost.

I mean, playing the other games is absolutely NOT a requirement.

I know it's obvious (at least I hope it is), but don't get Alienware. Ever.

It's just an overpriced brand name that should never be considered.

Oh, I know. I was considering Asus or Razer, though.

My brother owns a Razer and he played Far Cry 3 on it all the time. Too bad he doesn't take very good care of his things.

It's not a matter of what Lemon wants you to do. He's just letting you know that your choices are either 1) shit, or 2) really fucking expensive.

But I already know that.
I don't think the extent of how expensive a "gaming laptop" can be is understood. An Alienware 18 is the closest I can find to meeting the minimum requirements for TPP (and still falling short on the CPU speed), and the price is $4,650.

Gaming laptops are simply nowhere in the ballpark of being cost-efficient.

Huh? There are laptops that come bundled with TPP worth half that.

Laptops aren't cheap, and become outdated pretty quickly.

What's your point?
that they're shit for the price and not really worth it

so what would you rather me do?
