If they want the fanbase to not drop the game and for them to buy their products in the future, they have to follow up. Obviously not true, given the fact that people said the same shit about Halo 4. "Man, this game sucks. I'm done with Halo." Halo 5 trailer comes out. "Man that shit looks sick! Last chance, 343..." Let's not pretend Halo isn't going to sell like hotcakes even if H5 sucks.

that the DLC was in development before original launch, and some of the DLC is even outsourced to other companies to make. If the DLC is being worked on pre-launch, it's cut content. I don't care about your opinion on the matter -- you're wrong. Everything that is planned to be in the game, should be in the game. DLC is only ever acceptable when it's created after launch. And say what you want about Destiny's DLC, but the game was meant to be released a year prior than it was. The ONLY reason it wasn't was because of Marty, and such, the game underwent massive reivisions. Most, if not all, of the DLC content before and including TTK was either recycled or reimagined for the revised product.

The best option is still to delay the entire game, but that's not profitable, so it won't happen. But that's not the point. What I do care about is getting what I pay for. And I'm not with Halo 5.

I don't give a dusty FUCK about Forge -- I won't even play it. But it's the fucking principle that matters. I'd rather the whole game be delayed so that what I'm spending my $60 on is there as soon as I buy it. If you give 343i your money for a full product whilst only getting a fraction of it, that removes the incentive for them to make Forge good. Even if they're delaying it specifically to make it good; if they have your money already, the need to improve forge isn't there. It's cheaper for them to do as little as possible than go all-out.

I'm sure the new Forge will be the best its ever been -- butt this is a SHITTY practice that needs to be nipped in the but ASAP. Look how long GTAV took to get their online mode out -- imagine how much quicker it would have been if we only paid $20 for online when it was finished. I resent the argument that it's nitpicky. Because it isn't. It's a lot less of a problem then EA's $50 Season Pass, but still a problem nonetheless.

Besides the fact that there's a lot of pressure on 343 to pull through on Halo 5, and Halo 5 being the game that could make or break the franchise at this point. Lol. By the time Forge comes out, the "verdict" on the future of Halo will already be decided. But sure. No incentive. Yeah, there isn't one. Just like there's no incentive for developer to pull-through on DLC when you've already bought the Season's Pass. If they had no incentive to make it good, they wouldn't have delayed it for 6 weeks to get it ready. That's just... wanting to make a good game. Do we really have to pat these devs on the back when they do what they're supposed to? The game is releasing pretty early for a Halo game so I don't know why they'd do that if they're not ready, also. Because 343 didn't even develop the MCC, and because it was a complete mess, and had only a small team dedicated to pushing updates and fixes, whilst the core 343 team was already balls deep in development for Halo 5. They flat-out said in an update that they were "putting every able body on fixing the MCC". "Except for the majority of our team that's already balls-deep in development of our next cash cow." Either way, they knew that MCC wouldn't be working on release and said "Fuck it" anyways. Because Halo 5 is more important. The fact that you could LITERALLY pre-order Halo 5 BEFORE MCC speaks volumes.

I only explained where I was coming from. It's not relevant to my point AT ALL. Campaign, customs, arena, Warzone and Forge are all separate modes. So are Campaign, Theatre, Firefight, Customs, Matchmaking, Forge. I was shortening the list to the main 3. It's not like they're cutting Forge. They're delaying it for a completely valid reason. Sure, while still making you pay full-price. Giving them money ahead of the content is as bad as buying a season's pass. Don't be stupid, it's the exact same thing.

You still get forge for free so I have no clue how it can be considered 2/3 of the game. It will probably be an update that unlocks forge for Christmas.
