I don’t understand people who refuse to act on crushes and wonder why they’re single.
i wasted a lot of time on girls during high school and to go back to that mindset feels like i'm taking steps backward. i've never been as genuinely content with my life as i have been in the last 6 months and that's a huge contrast to where i was 2 years ago, feeling completely empty and meaningless without someone to convince me i was wrong.
oh it’s good that you feel strong enough to stand on your own two feet man, I’m just saying being content with that mindset shouldn’t stop you from at least trying with someone you’re genuinely interested in.

depends on who you ask. the bulk of the animation was done by south korean studios and the narrative & visual art styles are obviously heavily influenced by anime. at the same time, the creators and primary writers are white american guys. personally i see ATLA as existing in a sort of between space, not entirely western or eastern in its totality.

 more original stuff from yours truly. i've noticed the "curve" in the eyebrows and eye lids really adds something old school and authentic to the look. as for the positions and angles, i've made huge progress on that front, at least with the face. still working on the should and chest.

i mean you're already kinda there, not that it's even a bad thing no, tblocks and i don't have that relationship at all on here lol. we rarely argue "in public" like this. its normally over our discord chat or in person if it happens to come up. i use him as a reference in arguments because he's known me my whole life so he has more authority on my character than some random guy on the internet. as for my caustic personality, idk, it doesn't really seem to bother him. i guess he just realises that it's more about flare than hostile intention. so what exactly do you want i want you to exercise more patience. like aria said your "style" is detrimental to whatever your goal is when arguing and i think you have the potential to be more effective by being more charming. don't think of it as an appeal to emotion or whatever. think of it as facilitating the expansion of your ideas. on top of that you'd just be a friendlier person that people actually enjoy talking to. but whatever man, what do i know. i think when you're in a good mood, you're a cool dude that i wouldn't mind hanging out with. but you have a short fuse, and that's a problem.

She's this small girl who works at the front desk. she has a quiet demeanor but she doesn't lack confidence. it's a very familiar disposition. i dunno there's just something i find welcoming about her. considering i've only ever worked with 40 year old dudes it's uncharted territory for me.
it was pretty embarassing when i came back from work with mayonaise on my face and she pointed it out lol, but i played it off well enough and she didn't really seem to think anything of it. it came off as endearing.
side note, a lot of the girls thought i was 23+ years old. i got a 28 years old from one girl. that was pretty cool.

you're like this kid's live-in nurse. you have to appease him so that he doesn't lash out on you too. you're essentially saying all the same things that everyone else is but he listens to you because you rub him off a little bit before arguing with him. and because you're the only friend verbatim has in the world he has to make sure you know he doesn't actually hate you when he treats you like everyone else (i.e. like shit) and say things like "she's still my best friend here tho" after explaining why people should hate you it's just fucking weird.
