Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about this.
Completed: One Punch Man is fucking excellent. Easily in my top 3 favourite anime now. I'm a little worried about Season 2 not being handled by Madhouse because the main draw of the show is the fucking UNREAL animation but that doesn't really detract from the superb quality of Season 1 in its entirety.

Current: Black Clover is Naruto 2.0. Asta is a little over-the-top especially in the sub but it handles its opening SO much better than Kishimoto did. No nonsense, right to the action. I've read ahead in the manga and it gets pretty interesting.

it's the anime everyone has to hate on since naruto's ended, but it's still enjoyable if you are a superior free-thinker like myself
For Pete's sake if you must continue to be a shounen pleb go with something half decent like Boruto's Dad's Son or Boku No Pico Academia.
I'm already watching Boruto if you read my post and My Hero Academia is the next thing on my list after AoT. Hunter x Hunter is after that.

Complete: Death Note is great. I still enjoyed it after the "drop-off in quality," though. Usually not a fan of story-driven anime but after that second episode, it's hard not to be enthralled in the plot.
34 episodes: Attack on Titan is exceptionally boring for the most part. Season 1, at least. Season 2 drops a lot of the pacing issues and picks up a more distinctive character designer which goes miles for fixing the most glaring issue of S1: the fact that every character looks the same. The biggest draw the show has is that the S A K U G A is god-tier.
8 Episodes: Kill La Kill is incredibly difficult to take seriously but if I'm being objective it has some of the most brilliant budgeting and animation supervision I've ever seen. It's also pretty hilarious at times. I was hooked from the first episode, but after the third there's a lull that is a little harder to get through.

Current: Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is all slice-of-life with maybe a handful of action episodes. They retell one of Kishimoto's storylines from after the end of Naruto, which is pretty good, but just recently they finally became Genin in a pretty awesome couple of episodes. They're also starting to retell the manga now, and the last episode of 2017 had some INCREDIBLE key animation to end off the year. Basically, if you've been looking for a time to start watching Boruto, it would be now. Just make sure to read "The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" first.
13 episodes: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the antithesis of traditional shonen. All the characters are the exact opposite of stereotypes and I fucking love it. The biggest complaint I have is that the show is, at times, a little too light-hearted for what I felt Arakawa imagined. In the manga, you have these beautifully shaded panels that really do wonders for the believability of this world. But Brotherhood is far too vibrant. I watched the first couple episodes of the original anime, and felt that accomplished this much better than Brotherhood. I intend to go back and watch that one as well.

I don't really like the DBZ movies all that much, so it's quite nice that the two I do like are getting released on a blu-ray
Spoiler And just in case it comes across that I dislike Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, I like em but kinda count them separately to the original movies Eww yamamuro what the fuck what is that artwork
but those have been on Blu Ray for a long time
That art is so much better, but is that an american blu-ray? Because I'm pretty sure the UK is just getting this and idk if american blu-rays work on xbox one
You guys don't have funimation out there, right? The Blu Ray I posted was Funi's release a few years ago.

I dunno. I usually go with a
"Take care." "Take it easy." or "Have a good one."
Occassionally, I'll hit my friends up with a
"Alchemy: the science of understanding, deconstructing, and reconstructing matter. However, it is not an all-powerful art; it is impossible to create something out of nothing. If one wishes to obtain something, something of equal value must be given. This is the Law of Equivalent Exchange, the basis of all alchemy. In accordance with this law, there is a taboo among alchemists: human transmutation is strictly forbidden - for what could equal the value of a human soul...?"

oh my god takahashi's gohan looks so fucking good. im fully erect.
there has to be a change in character design after this arc. the reception to the old designs has been way too vocally positive.

Popping in to relay a sweet tip I've just been given. If you take an image you've been working on and flip it horizontally, it becomes MUCH easier to find the faults. For example: I had just finished this earlier today and was pretty pleased with it. There were a few issues I'd taken notice of: the pant leg on our left is a bit too wide, the slit between the legs is too wide and dark (resembling a vagina.) Additionally, the flow of the excess belt doesn't match the implied wind direction the hair is giving off. Beyond that, I was pretty satisfied with it. However... When you flip the image, the faults are, for whatever reason, easier to see. As you can tell, the shoulder on the left of the flipped image is significantly lower than its counter-part. The bicep is also just a little bigger than the arm on the right. Beyond a few minor hand differences, there's the problem of the neck not being symmetrical, the eyes implying a direction I wasn't going for, and the lowest hair stems not matching each other. I'm going to look into why exactly flipping the image makes it easier to find the faults, but yeah, a really cool little tip I stumbled upon. Don't take it too seriously, though. I've been flipping a lot of professional animator's work and noticing some imperfections (not as drastic as mine, but still existent.)

You want door fix, Man of Spiders? Yes, I know these things you do, I learn how to find many secrets in old country. You will not pay rent? This is fair. We take rent in other ways. When I was in old country, in Bosnia, my friends and I... we do things to women. Terrible things, make them ugly women who will never be loved. Your friends, redhead girl and science girl... they will beg me and my men to stop. And when they are broken, Man of Spiders, when they are nothing more than shells... you will know the rent is paid.

Some interesting tidbits from a Toriyama Saiyan Q&A
Q3: Do all Saiyans become combatants? A baby's battle power is measured as soon as they are born. If their number passes a certain standard, then they are considered upper-level warriors and immediately raised as a combatant candidate. On the other hand, those whose numbers remain low even after a certain amount of time has passed are regarded as lower-level warriors, and become either engineers or "infiltration babies" that are sent off to a planet somewhere. If they grow strong enough to conquer that planet, then they can return to their home world as a combatant. However, infiltration babies do not have a high survival rate. Raditz was an upper-level warrior and assigned to the same group as Nappa as a proper combatant. Vegeta was latter added to that group too.
Q5: Can anyone become a Super Saiyan if they train? White box: It's not like anyone can become a Super Saiyan through training and anger. In order to become a Super Saiyan, one's body must contain something called "S-Cells". Once these S-Cells reach a certain amount, a trigger such as anger will explosively increase the S-Cells and cause a change in the body: that's Super Saiyan. Most Saiyans have some S-Cells, although not a great quantity. the reason why Goku and Vegeta's children can become Super Saiyan relatively easily is probably because to a certain extent they inherited a lot of S-Cells, and also because Earth's environment is gentler and easier to live in than Planet Vegeta.
Tori-bot: "Lately everyone becomes Super Saiyan so easily, but it is no simple matter."
Arrow: And how does one increase S-Cells to become Super Saiyan?
Black box: Having a gentle spirit is the best way to greatly increase one's S-Cells, but most Saiyans have trouble with this, which I think is why no Super Saiyans appeared for such a long time and they became the stuff of legend. However, one can't reach the quantity necessary for becoming a Super Saiyan simply by having a gentle spirit, so a certain amount of battle power is indeed necessary. Looked at in this light, it's easy to see why becoming a Super Saiyan came easy for Goku.
Goten picture: "He was able to easily become Super Saiyan thanks to inheriting lots of S-Cells!"
Goku picture: "A gentle heart + high battle power resulted in Super Saiyan!!"
Q9: Was the "legendary Super Saiyan" Freeza feared the Super Saiyan God that appeared in Battle of Gods? White box: In a certain sense, they are the same person. That is to say, very long ago, before Planet Vegeta was the Saiyans' planet, there was a man named Yamoshi [note: probably a pun on moyashi, Japanese for bean sprouts] who had a righteous heart despite being a saiyan. He and his five comrades started a rebellion, but he was cornered by warriors and became a Super Saiyan for the first time, though his transformation and fearsome fighting style shocked the other Saiyans. Outnumbered, Yamoshi eventually wore himself out and was defeated, but this was only the beginning of his legend. Afterwards, Yamoshi's spirit wandered in continuous search of six righteous-hearted Saiyans, seeking a new savior: Super Saiyan God.
Tori-bot: "And that's why there's that ceremony to become Super Saiyan God."
Arrow: And why did Beerus search for Super Saiyan God?
Black box: Beerus probably picked up on information about Yamoshi's spirit in his prophetic dream. The fact that this is recorded in the Namekian book of legends is likewise because the Namekian elder who wrote it sympathized with Yamoshi's spirit. this is pretty cool, but i sincerely doubt toriyama had anything to do with this. he probably hired the people who wrote the daizenschuu to answer these questions.

wrong fucking right
that was the only entertaining scene of that JUSTice league movie, the scene where superman comes back to life, gets pissed, and starts curbstomping everyone, including wonder woman
because that's what superman does
the purpose of his character is to be uninteresting
neither wonder woman nor superman are being canonically represented in the dceu. nice try. same with flash. >everyone else >two characters
ok
characters that are equal to or greater than superman (high diff): lobo darkseid the atom bizarro martian manhunter shazam doomsday captain atom dr fate wonder woman the flash (who can solo any non-omnipotent character) firestorm the spectre most of the new gods off the top of my head

i mean you can argue that hes a boring character, but to say its because hes overpowered is just asinine considering a) he's not even Goku/Thor level and people have no problem with those character's powers, and b) his powers are rarely the focus of his best stories. theyre about the consequences of his existence and what he represents to the world.

wonder woman has faster combat speed and martial arts ability which literally doesn't matter when superman could obliterate her with a single punch
wrong the most recent canon versions of superman couldn't do that which literally doesn't matter, because two overpowered characters does not make one less overpowered except it literally does because you cant be overpowered when everyone else is relatively as powerful as you... overpowered within the context of power scaling is a comparative statement which literally doesn't matter, because two overpowered characters does not make one less overpowered except it literally does because you cant be overpowered when everyone else is relatively as powerful as you... overpowered withint the context of power scaling is a comparative statement as for villains, it makes far more sense for villains to be OP anyway
ok

I really hate the whole "I won't kill anyone no matter what :^)" kind of character, even when faced with real life shit. It's such a naive fucking thing.
poster boy definition of a superhero, like say Superman (who they're finally trying to change from being boring/OP, which is hard to do, but that's a different story).
If only I gained a penny every time someone repeated this hilarious misconception.
Cryptonite
wow
It's not like he can do literally anything else and makes all other Superheroes kinda pale in comparison.
*Kryptonite
And no, he can't. Martian Manhunter alone has more powers than Superman has, and he has constantly shown to be beaten by other heroes like Wonder Woman and the Flash. Hell, the Reverse Flash defeated him with a single punch when Wondy took more punishment and ended up beating the Reverse Flash. Superman is also way too hung up in protecting others that he sometimes ignores their need to help thinking that he can take the brunt of the attack, this had led him being humiliated by Darkseid, Brainiac, and Lobo both in his own series and in the JLA.
Recently in Rebirth he couldn't even beat a single octopus monster alone, he needed his son's help. AND then he couldn't beat the Eradicator alone, he had help from his son, from Lois in the Hellbat armor, and Krypto. AND now he barely survived fighting against Zod, Cyborg Supes, and Eradicator. If he was sooo powerful as you say, he would've already cleaned house, but he didn't. He left the fight blinded and beaten.
thats the thing that gets me all the time. people whine that hes overpowered but hes really not when you compare him to his contemporaries. wonder woman has faster combat speed and martial arts ability, martian manhunter has greater battle intelligence and more powers, shazam has pretty much everything superman had plus magic affinity (which superman is just as susceptible to as everyone else). and then we have his rogues gallery. darkseid, lobo, doomsday, zod. these are all characters that outclass him in raw power. just because the guy has more power than a dude who eats a lot of eggs and fights crime as a bat doesnt make him overpowered.
