The Flood / Re: How to tell if someone is vegan
« on: October 27, 2015, 02:46:06 PM »
For real though, the only time I ever tell people I'm a vegan is when they fucking ask.

"Hey, are you a vegan?"

"Yes."

Usually the names are designated to you, right?... I don't think I should be the one to give myself a name.

Yeah, and they're also supposed to be based on, like, negative things.

Darth Ascerbica or something.

Well, Canada is a big place after all. Tbh, each 'country' of the British Isles is almost identical-you could walk through every part in a line and you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.

Yeah so I don't think it's too much to ask for a little understanding when it comes to my knowledge on the British Isles... >.>

I'll be honest, I have a very low opinion of 90% of humanity, most Brits are total idiots-i've had people in my class ask if England was in London (scary, I know). I don't expect most people in this country to get all of the UK/Britain/GB/etc... stuff right, nevermind anyone from elsewhere. I guess I just tend to expect more from everyone on this site, I don't regard any of you as part of that 90%, you know?

In my defence, the different provinces of Canada are likely on-par with the different countries in the U.K.

Like, the difference between Ontario and Quebec is staggering. Or Nova Scotia. Or B.C.

Konami -- I don't even care about Kojima as much as you'd think. Their general attitude what disgusts me.

Microsoft -- Halo 5. Not shipping with Forge is super shady.

I think you'd quite like it. Very good mix of old-young, classic-modern, green-buildings. Lots of history, lots of things to look at.

Yeah, in all seriousness my knowledge on Belgium is limited to

a) waffles
and
b) that one joke in Austin Powers: Goldmember

so I'm looking forward to filling the gap in my knowledge.

That question gave me cancer. Wales and England aren't even countries per se, just parts of the United Kingdom. Britain isn't a country either, it's the large island that Scotland, Wales and England comprise. The UK also includes Northern Ireland and the Channel islands, as well as the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight, plus all of the Scottish islands.

Well I mean, if I asked you to differentiate between Quebec and Ontario with their different regions, would you be able to? Doubtful.

But thanks for letting me know.

WW2 Captain America stealth game in the Fox Engine.
I didn't know I wanted this

At first I was thinking,

"How about Modern-era Captain America? Throwing your shield around? Could be cool."

But then I realised that would be pretty shallow over time. I know he uses guns in WW2 so I figured that could add some depth to the gameplay.

But yeah, that would be amazing.

I'm looking forward to hearing about the history of your province.

That makes sense, and it sounds like a decent deal. Not sure why you singled out London instead of saying England, but I get what you mean regardless.

Isn't Wales in England? I dunno, my geography class never covered Britain, lol. That's why I singled out London, I guess.

We're going to Paris in France, too.

Anyways, there's been an update.

My teacher approached me and said that someone had dropped out, meaning that I will likely go on the trip.

Should get the final word tomorrow. Keeping my croissants crossed here.

3000 what? Yen? No way it costs that many dollars to get to France right?

CAD. As in, dollars.

It's $3000 for a trip to France, London, Wales, and Belgium. All expenses paid.

It's actually a really good deal.

I'm in Germany I visited France once no big deal

Well you obviously lack the intellectual requirements to appreciate the French culture.
