Get really close with a friend or two who are having similar troubles and convince them to be your roommate.
Show no loyalty to your job because for the most part a diverse resume looks good. If you see an opportunity to make more money elsewhere, take it.
I'll keep that in mind. Going to try and get a few interviews this week. I'll pretty much take anything but idk how i'm going to manage a part time job when i have that atrocious bus ride thanks tho

I got thrown out at sixteen and had to fend for myself. Any tips? It's a miracle I graduated highschool with the trouble in my life. What sucks though is that I live half an hour away from my hometown (where I'm staying currently), where I have to take an hour and a half bus to my school. And my bus stop is a 40 minute walk from my house, which means I'll have to get up super fucking early to get on my bus, in the freezing Canadian winters just to make it to school where I'm failing half my courses. Fuck. /vent avoid family is my credo. That's been my goal for a long time. I don't get along with these people very much but I don't have very many options left.

so what the fuck did you do or say to cause such a rash outcome? Honestly, I don't know. The only thing I know for sure is that my relationship has been steadily declining with my parents over the last ~3 years or so. I've never really liked them (they're not very nice people), but I always sort of kept to myself and didn't instigate. I was never disrespectful but I never lied to them either, and I think my honesty started to piss them off. I don't mean that I'd routinely be like "Hey, you look like shit." But they'd be like, "Hey, how was your day?" And I'd reply, "Shit, as per usual." or something like that. I've been depressed for years and I didn't know that I had to lie to my parents about shit like that. I'm supposed to be the most honest with them, right? I dunno. Maybe they felt helpless but my negativity apparently took a toll on them. In all honesty, I'm in better spirits than I thought I'd be. Most of this is probably not as coherent as I'd like but my emotions are still high right now so I apologise for that.

So whenever I "do something wrong" (like I won't go get dog food because I'm entertaining guests), they lose their shit because that relationship isn't there. I guess.
