It's not so bad nowadays, mostly because my perspective has changed, but I still get weirdly unlucky quite often. I'll have a few weeks of pretty decent luck, but then all of a sudden I'll get a string of bad things happening one after the other. I then spend another couple of weeks recovering from that, only for the cycle to continue. It'd be humourous if I didn't fuck ME over.
I try to maintain a more positive outlook, but god damn is it hard sometimes.
Yeah, it is. I've come to expect bad luck at all times, so when it hits me, I'm prepared, but when it misses me, I'm baseline. The key is to expect the universe to want you to not succeed, and then use that as fuel for your conviction to succeed in spite of those efforts. Easier said than done, though.

Nah, not really. All it says is "Not suitable for young or easily disturbed viewers." Considering it has that anime aesthetic, my first thought was that the game had some weird-hentai sexual content.

Great game. This is the kind of shit I want to see more of. The writing was top-notch and goes miles for pulling you into the game. Apart from the first "hook" moment that we all know of, the coolest moment for me was Spoiler near the end, when Monika guesses your "real" name. I used the name "Reginald" for my playthrough, and I completely forgot I named my computer after myself, so when she correctly used my name instead of Reginald, I was so fucked up.

She's been accused of molestation, that's a fact. Whether she actually did it or not is irrelevant to what I said.
The fact that someone asked who she is, and you immediately identified her as the person who a baseless claim was made against, is indicative that you believe the claim and see it as inseparable to her character. You didn't mention her work as a comedian or actress, just the she-said accusation against her.
It's no different than you getting brought up somewhere, and the first thing I say about you is how you're allegedly a serial rapist. I can hide behind the wording of the description ("he was accused of serial raping, that's a fact"), but it doesn't change the duplicitous and misleading nature of it.
well considering its a loaf thread i felt compelled to mention the allegations. but yeah youre right. i apologise. but when someone accuses another of sexually abusing them would you rather we believe them until proven wrong or ignore them until evidence surfaces that supports them personally the former sounds like the right choice to me with harsh penalties for people who are crying wolf

God of war was never good, going a different direction with the gameplay is fine.
I enjoy interactive movies and I enjoy gameplay focused games.
If you think we're lacking on the second style you haven't been paying attention to the indie scene.
because the indie scene is almost as bad in different ways.
video games just suck right now. they have for awhile.
What games have you been enjoying lately? That are more recent games.
i dont really play games anymore (because of this sort of thing). if i do its guilty pleasure stuff. the last good game i played was BOTW

im not that picky. video games are not cheap and 9/10 of my last purchases were just not worth the investment.
Steam sales my dude. If you buy a game for $2 and it sucks it's not a terrible investment. PS4 has been pretty good to me with their sales.
