I mean, obviously people are going to go apeshit when you post spoilers to something major like Star Wars, Halo, MGS, or the latest GoT.
But is anybody really going to care if someone posted spoilers to the latest Barbie game or some shit? I'm not saying that it's a good idea, but where is the line drawn?
Someone has to report it. I would think that draws the line pretty clearly. Mods don't do shit if you don't report it.

They were under a lot of pressure. All things considered, I thought they handled things quite well. Using overall narrative and artistic cues from the original trilogy was an excellent framework for introducing the new characters and the dynamics of their relationships. I didn't come out of the movie feeling let down by anyone's characterization aside from Snoke. Finn, Rey, Ben Solo, BB-8, and Poe were all really well done, and I gotta give shouts outs to Hux. The power dynamic between Ben and Hux was a really cool callback to the power struggles between Vader and the high ranking Empire leaders.
For sure, I agree most of that. I just can't give the studio credit for redoing what's already been done, no matter how poorly it could've turned out.

The best freakout was when he discovered Rey had escaped and he started slashing her torture chair thing, then the stormtroopers came walking around the corner and just turned around like "nope."

He didn't have a change of heart because it was the one condition he laid down a few years ago regarding EpVII
Why are you being so fucking retarded? Is it completely impossible that he could've changed his mind? Fuck.

Harrison Ford wanted Han to die years and years ago. He publicly said he would only do EpVII if Han Solo was killed off on screen.
I did not know this. The audience mostly did not know this. Even if most people knew he wanted Han to die, that doesn't confirm shit. It's not impossible that JJ was able to entice Harrison to do another movie with a big enough paycheck. Stop making excuses for cunts to be cunts.

Posting Star Wars spoilers should be on par with posting loli.
Agreed. But unfortunately, I don't make the rules.

No, why would they?
And why would you go into a rule-less subforum a week after the movie you haven't seen has come out?

I definitely liked it better than Return. Really? All my dislike for Return of the Jedi, at least it tried something new. I felt like TFA played it way too safe.

4th best movie, behind the original trilogy. It was by no means a bad movie, but I thought it failed to go anywhere interesting or new with the franchise and settled by "playing it safe" instead.

You're only expecting it if you choose to expect it. Nobody is making you expect it, if you cannot suspend belief that it will happen, there is possibly some ability you are lacking. Are you fucking kidding me. No, obviously I cannot choose to NOT expect something. Sorry, I'm not capable of turning off my brain like you are.

You don't even know that spoiler he told you is true until you see it as the director intended, though.
So? I'll be expecting it. And even if the spoiler is untrue, I'll still be expecting it -- and that twists my perception of the movie in a way the director did not anticipate when she directed the movie.

If you don't care about spoilers, by extension, you don't care if you know everything about the movie before you watch it.
There's inherently something magical about watching a movie for the first time that you shouldn't be able to deny someone.

How does knowing what's going to happen make it less enjoyable? Because learning is fun. Duh. And arguably, if I spoil the movie for you, wouldn't that count as learning the plot for the first time, and be more enjoyable then watching the movie itself?
No, you fucking retard, because I didn't get to see it unfold in the way that the director intended. I didn't "watch" anything, either -- you just fucking told me.

You do realize there will never be another second or zeroth time, right? Aren't those as incomprehensibly valuable as the first?
No, because unlike the first one, you know what's going to happen in every subsequent viewing of the film. Why do I have to explain this shit.

While that sounds terribly nostalgiac and all that, I'd prefer to not waste my life wanting another first cheap high and be a bit more thoughtful and inquisitive. So you require watch multiple viewings of a movie to pick up on the small details and subtleties? That makes a lot of sense to me. Fortunately, some of us are capable of picking up on those things the first time. Really, what specifically ruins a movie for you about knowing it before? The substance of a film is not the story, but how the story is told. If the story is told very well, then knowing it before shouldn't ruin your appreciation for it.
If you cannot understand the inherent worth of not knowing something, watching it unfold, and reflecting upon it, then there's nothing I can do for you. You're wrong, and you have no right to call other's concerns irrelevant, stupid, or act dismissive in any way.

I always enjoy movies more when I can focus on the little things without worrying about the plot as a whole. Why do I give a fuck? You're wrong. For every time you watch a movie, there will never be a time list that first time. That inherently makes it more valuable than any rewatch ever will be.

Man, the way you're behaving is just like How pissed off Kylo was when he learned Jar Jar was his father.
Who are you trying to convince with this one? Terrible. You realise I saw the movie last night, right?

So you've never enjoyed a movie more than the first time you saw it? You've never paid attention to the details and intricacies of the film after getting the general idea of it the first time around? No, obviously. But nothing compares to the first time you watch a movie. I was reading about a critic who said "If I could have one wish, it would be to watch my favourite movie for the first time again." Nothing compares to that first time. Nothing.

Can't say I object.

Bro, calm down before you have a heart attack like Luke did in episode VII.
What the hell is wrong with you? I hate expectation spoilers almost more than actual spoilers.

Or you learn that knowing a movie's plot points don't make watching it any less enjoyable and move on with your miserable life.
Except it does.

Hmmmm. That's not what you said in the alternate 2015 I'm viewing currently.
What are you talking about? Even if I said that, clearly I'm not a good judge of character.

We need more mods.
If I picked the right path, I could have been a pretty sick mod in an alternate 2014-2015 Sep7agon, but I chose the wrong path.
Sorry.
You don't deserve to be a mod, though.

Just comes to show, even the people that thought you were cool will eventually turn on you for quite possibly the dumbest shit. I never thought you were cool, I said I sympathised with you. But now I can see that you're a shitty person that deserves the treatment you get from these people. Sorry, I can forgive a lot of things -- spoilers aren't one of them.
