You have to wonder whether or not Harrison Ford made JJ kill Han off, or if it was part of the plan the entire time.
I mean, I understand the obvious parallel drawn between Han and Obi-Wan from ANH (both are father-figures for the main character, who see them both get cut down by the main antagonist with their own eyes), but it just strikes me as a bit rushed.
I guess the only way we'd know for sure is if Harrison makes an appearance in flashbacks or maybe the Boba Fett movie that's coming.

There was a storyline where Boba Fett was tasked with finding a sacred gemstone or something before the Empire found it. He ended up succeeding in that regard, but Vader cut him off near the end of his escapade and demanded that he give him the stone. He refused and got into a fight with him. At one point, Boba was able to disarm Vader after throwing the stone into a pit of lava (Vader dropped everything to use the force and secure the stone before it actually hit the lava), and he had to opportunity to slice him down right then and there, but didn't want to have the Empire on his ass for the rest of his life. This was before Disney, though.

I'm fairly sure the only media we've gotten that takes place after Return of the Jedi is The Force Awakens. That's why I said "There are no more Sith after Episode 6 that we know of." As far as I know.
Kylo Ren is no Sith, Snoke is no Sith. At least, they were never confirmed to be.

No. When the Force reached out to the first force-sensitive people who ever existed, they were, essentially, Jedi. It wasn't until people got ballsy and started tampering with it that they began to use the unnatural abilities of the Force, hence, the imbalance. The entire prophecy confirms this. There's no balance until the imbalance is removed (imbalance being, dark side of the Force users.)

Well no, the Dark side of the Force is an imbalance of the Force. That's why the Force always tries to correct itself via prophecies and such.
