That's kind of a shitty thing for Ford to do, to be honest.

You have to wonder whether or not Harrison Ford made JJ kill Han off, or if it was part of the plan the entire time.

I mean, I understand the obvious parallel drawn between Han and Obi-Wan from ANH (both are father-figures for the main character, who see them both get cut down by the main antagonist with their own eyes), but it just strikes me as a bit rushed.

I guess the only way we'd know for sure is if Harrison makes an appearance in flashbacks or maybe the Boba Fett movie that's coming.

Daily reminder that Boba Fett was capable of besting Darth Vader and actually had the opportunity to kill him, despite not being force-sensitive whatsoever.
fucking what and when?

There was a storyline where Boba Fett was tasked with finding a sacred gemstone or something before the Empire found it. He ended up succeeding in that regard, but Vader cut him off near the end of his escapade and demanded that he give him the stone. He refused and got into a fight with him.

At one point, Boba was able to disarm Vader after throwing the stone into a pit of lava (Vader dropped everything to use the force and secure the stone before it actually hit the lava), and he had to opportunity to slice him down right then and there, but didn't want to have the Empire on his ass for the rest of his life.

This was before Disney, though.

Jun wasn't considered to be alive in Halo: Reach because they didn't confirm otherwise. It wasn't until 343 actually revealed that he was alive that we knew for sure.

But The Clone Wars TV show is still going on, right? Wouldn't be surprised if they kill him off eventually.

I'm fairly sure the only media we've gotten that takes place after Return of the Jedi is The Force Awakens. That's why I said "There are no more Sith after Episode 6 that we know of." As far as I know.

Kylo Ren is no Sith, Snoke is no Sith. At least, they were never confirmed to be.

He did that when in Episode III he killed all but 2 Jedi and there were 2 Sith left.

There were more than 2 Jedi that survived Order 66.
And there were more than 2 Sith after Episode 6

Not that we know of.

What abilities do you think they'd get? Ren's blast-stopping ability is a must have

Maybe just put a spoiler-tag in the OP so we don't need to manually spoiler-tag everything?

Spoiler
Hmm... Ren should have that blaster stop, and maybe a mind-reading ability that highlights where that player's teammates are?

Phasma would just be a Boba Fett reskin

Rey, I don't know. But her weapon should be her staff.

Chewbacca would be Han reskin.

Phasma and Kylo Ren for the Empire.

Rey and Chewbacca for the Rebels.

Balance refers to a balance between being an emotionless husk of a monk and being a raging lunatic that does cartwheels through the air while screaming.

No. When the Force reached out to the first force-sensitive people who ever existed, they were, essentially, Jedi. It wasn't until people got ballsy and started tampering with it that they began to use the unnatural abilities of the Force, hence, the imbalance.

The entire prophecy confirms this. There's no balance until the imbalance is removed (imbalance being, dark side of the Force users.)

It just doesn't make sense how the Empire is still alive and strong 15+ years after the death of Plagueis. The first goal of the Rebel Alliance would be to eradicate the Empire, no?

Do you mean the death of Palpatine? Cause Plagueis was his master before the prequels.

Yeah, my bad.

Or alternatively you could say that balance was achieved when only one side existed. The Sith Rule of Two rule was present for a bit of an important reason.

Well no, the Dark side of the Force is an imbalance of the Force. That's why the Force always tries to correct itself via prophecies and such.

Which Wii-U do you guys recommend me getting?

I'm thinking of getting the Mario Kart bundle and buying Smash 4 separately.

The Force is only balanced when the Dark Side doesn't exist. The Dark side is being present not balanced -- the Dark Side itself is an imbalance.

Daily reminder that post-Republic Jedi don't receive lightsaber training, their skills with the weapon are directly tied to their strength with the force.

I will say, the movie has done at least one thing right for me: it's reignited my passion for Star Wars. Whereas before, I thought I had "grown out of it", now I realise, I haven't at all.

Star Wars fucking rules.

If this is how you idiots react to Episode VII spoilers I wonder how you'll all react when someone dumps Halo 6 plot details.

Star Wars is more important than Halo, though.
