Like, I always choose to play as a female in games that give me the choice, and I love games that have good female characters, but I don't actively look for them. It's a nice bonus when they're there, I guess.

This is even a link discussing about the confusion and anger that spurred from that initial release of info. No, it wasn't. People being stupid en masse doesn't really do anything for your argument. It's not surprising that people were confused; people are dumb. FF7 said from the get go back in June "Play it First on PS4." That doesn't mean it will be on Xbox, that's an assumption. What else could "Play it first on PS4" mean? If FF7 was truly a PS4 console exclusive, they would say "Playstation 4 exlusive" instead of neutering their marketing impact by saying "Play it a few months earlier on this console!" Titanfall advertised as Xbox Exclusive in the initial advertisements then also added a PC release IIRC Titanfall was meant to be an exlusive to the Xbox platform but the devs didn't meet the sales quota to justify it. That's why Titanfall 2 will also be on PS4. and Tomb Raider was FIRSTLY advertised as an Xbox Exclusive then corrected to PS4 as timed very quickly. AFAIK, it was never advertised as such. Now take that back to FF7, to not dominate sales in one way or another why have they not yet given full notice to customers that you can buy this game on either console? Do you even know why games are timed exclusive? The publishers get a huge sum of money from either Sony or Microsoft so that they can have the game a few months earlier to boost the sales of their platform. This isn't rocket science. The sales they would lose by NOT releasing a game on the other platform would surely be made up by the sum of money that Sony provided for them. Plus, delaying the game on a console doesn't mean they'll lose all of their sales for said platform, it just means they potentially lose some. Hardly any sort of gamble here. I just assume it would be sensible from the get go to say "First on PS4, but you can also get it on Xbox a year later" or something like that. This is why people say you're an idiot. You clearly have no understanding of marketing at all. Games that are shown at E3 for Sony's conference let's say, that are multiplat -- do they ever state "Play this on PS4 AND Xbox One."? No, because why the fuck would Sony advertise the Xbox One? Use your brain. Because if you are right, it won't sell well on the Xbox by the time they announce it, which would be a very bad business mood. Why wouldn't it sell on the Xbox One? They'd probably announce a release date after the initial one, just like Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm sure lots of people are going to buy that game on PS4.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Wii U
Recently I've come to love the Zelda series, so naturally, I'm excited for what appears to be the Phantom Pain of the series, hype and ambitions wise.
2. Final Fantasy XV
I saw some gameplay, and thought it looked pretty cool. I've never played a FF game so I'm not sure what I'm in for.
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn
Looks great. I love the art style, the gameplay, and the main protagonist.
4. Star Fox: Zero
Never played a Star Fox game, so I'm looking forward to hearing some sick banter between Falco and Fox,
5. Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
From what I've seen, it looks to be the most artistically interesting game being released this year.
