Press F to pay respects?

Really? Why would they even need a QTE there? Just script the character to do that.

What, would that "break the immersion"? Can't break it any more than "press a button to bury you friend".

LOL

What year are they still in? Fucking 2007? WASRs are fucking fantastic now since Century has stepped up their quality control
I mean if it's going to be a century, I might rather get a VZ. They're definitely more aesthetically pleasing than the standard AK. And lighter IIRC
Good luck finding magazines for them. They not only use different magazines than ak-pattern, but the whole internals are completely different. It's so much different that the only "ak" thing about them is thir look
Oh I'm aware of that. But if I remember right the Century one comes with like five or six mags when you buy it. I do like that the bolt locks back.
VZ 58s are popular up here in Maple Syrup Land, though partially due to AKs being banned in any and all configurations. Reliability is pretty solid.

In fact, we've got a dealer working with CZ to make a run of "CZ 958" rifles for our market.

what's with that tiny magazine?
"Gun control."

However, there are a few ways to bend the rules. Normally, semiauto centrefire rifles are limited to five, and semiautomatic pistols to ten (including rimfires). Bolts, pumps, levers, and rimfire rifles have no limit. There are two exceptions to these basic rules. First, the M1 Garand can use it's 8 round en bloc clip. Second, the Lee Enfield is limited to a maximum capacity of 10 rounds (Because the magazines were compatible with the Charlton Automatic Rifle (A WWII prototype that may only have one active example in a museum, but the rules don't have to make sense.)

But, if a magazine designed for a pistol or bolt action rifle functions in a semiautomatic rifle, the semiauto rifle can use the maximum legal capacity of those magazines. Ex, the magazines for the AIA .308 Lee Enfield function in M1A type rifles, so 10 rounders can be used. AR15 pistol magazines can also be used in rifles accepting AR mags.

Second, if a magazine designed for a specific caliber can be loaded with and function with a different caliber, you can load the magazine with those rounds in excess of the limit. .50 Beowulf magazines can feed .223 rounds. There's a company here just making .50 Beowulf mags that can fit up to 15 rounds of .223. Now someone needs to make a .50 Beowulf pistol lol.

Serious / Re: How is China NOT communist?
« on: November 02, 2014, 11:08:12 PM »
Their government is mostly modeled on the old Soviet one, but China is really communist in name only these days. Authoritarian? Without a doubt, yes. But if Mao rose from the grave tomorrow, he would be appalled with what he saw. Globalization and the encouragement of private enterprise are not exactly the foremost tenants of revolutionary communism.

I somewhat agree, but China is massive. Not all of it is like Hong Kong, which is arguably the freest city on the planet right now.

I wouldn't call Hong Kong a free city right now. Especially when the Beijing frontman who is administering the current election graduated from Kim Il Sung University (no bull, that's where he got his education). Beijing has been tightening the noose recently.

No wonder the Hong Kong Chinese are protesting...

For a second I thought you were talking about FEAR Combat. Because I've never heard of FEAR Online.

How did that franchise go to hell that badly?

What brings you here bby?

Main site got boring.
I try finding interesting topics there, but they get rare now, sadly.
Beats seeing people bitch about Destiny all the time.

Graduate, get your paper, then walk out of the building flipping it the bird over your shoulder.

Preferably in slow motion as rock music blares and things explode behind you.

Do you really think citizens can get ahold of explosives here as easily as they can in the middle east?

More so, you probably have things around your house to make several explosives. You do realize they are easy to create, correct?
A homemade pipe bomb vs an Abrams tank.

Who will win?

Hmmmm
A pipe bomb in the right spot could de-track a tank, largely immobilizing it.

The turret would be still active, and I'm not the one who's going to try to shove a grenade down the gun bore.

I also wonder why the Storm troopers never fold the stocks out on their guns, maybe they would hit something if they did

It would also help if they turned their scopes around.

They're on backwards.

When you don't have a lot of paid work experience, it's hard to put a resume together.

What you need to do is draw on the work, volunteering, or educational experience that is the most relevant to the job you are applying for, and highlight the soft, transferrable skills that you have, in addition to the technical skills the job requires.

You may not be able to meet all the technical qualifications for the job, but if you can zero in on those soft skills and express that you are a well rounded and motivated individual, you may get a shot.

You can spin the voting thing by highlighting the community service element, which could be useful if you decide to stick to teaching. You can also highlight technical skills with the Excel seminar and using the smartphone app.

I wouldn't write off the substitute teacher thing if I were you. There are DOZENS of very useful soft skills you can pick up and emphasize from it. Dealing with different groups of people, organizing and presenting a study plan, communicating with the main teacher as a team (TEAMWORK EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE RESUME PLUS!), etc.

Serious / Re: What is your view of Conservatives?
« on: November 01, 2014, 11:05:30 PM »
Well, ours went from Contempt of Parliament to Majority Government last election, so they must be doing something right.

The "Bible Thumper" types that hold so much sway in the Republican Party in the US have been largely purged from our Conservative Party. You will never hear any MP open their mouths about abortion or gay marriage, simply because the party does not want to touch those political footballs with at 10 foot pole.

The rest of the party's policies are typical right-leaning. Lowering taxes, promoting free trade and economic development, balancing the budget, tough on crime stances, improving national defense (at least more than the Liberals), bombing ISIS back to whatever came before the Stone Age, etc.

However, I'd be much happier if they drop-kicked that Temporary Foreign Worker Program into the nearest trash bin. That thing has been abused to no end and is out of control.

No point in revolting without a clear plan to put the country back together. Look at how most of the Arab Spring went.

Anyone who criticises Sharia law or gay marriage could be branded an “extremist” under sweeping new powers planned by the Conservatives to combat terrorism, an alliance of leading atheists and Christians fear.

I think your Conservatives need some warranty work. They're clearly defective.
