My family used to have financial difficulties at the time. I rarely met my father, as he worked a crazy schedule from 4 AM to 11 PM, and I would only see him for lunch and dinner, afterwards he went to sleep or watched TV for a little time. At the time, he attempted to make up for his absence with small gifts. (Like VHS cartoons, or anime which my mother suggested, sometimes puzzles too)
At school, what I remember mostly is being bullied throughout the elementary. I was branded as unintelligent, my peers were always onto me, the teachers rarely cared, or even worse, they accused me of anything at some point. Other girls outed me for not agreeing with them or playing the same games as them, and the boys were much better to spend time with, but they tended to be annoying more often.
My parents almost gave up on me at the time.
Silly stuff to remember. I won't say any further.

That comes as a shock to me. I would prefer equal time. I mean, all this about Chief finally being portrayed as "human." But we shouldn't make assumptions from words, I mean is he supposed to know how many levels Locke is playable as vs. Chief? Probably not.
Really what I don't want is for MS to make Guardians a game primarily about Locke so that they have an excuse to push out more games featuring Chief later. MC's story should end during the X1's life cycle. I hope...

I agree with your points. There were parts in the game where I did like him, but like you said, he rarely showed any emotion when he spoke.
