Pruning?
I agree it's too time consuming. I don't even have much time for XIV as it is already. I was mainly pointing out the social aspect though, and pruning, which I hope they don't do too much with Stormblood. Removing skills and streamlining the rotations. For example, my Hunter on WoW. I basically press 3 buttons. That's it.
BM has one of the most ridiculously easy rotations in the game to be fair. Survival is a LOT more intensive.

id recommend a laptop from asus or dell that isn't a netbook with an atom processor
if youve heard bad things about either of those brands in the past, theyve been doing very well the past couple years and are among the top places for laptops that are least likely to fail within 3 years
that said the bracket for failure between the best and the worst is only a difference of about 5%, most modern laptops with a skylake processor should be enough for WoW
