not at all. i think the point of music is to help make people feel good, and the easier it is to access music, the better it is for everyone. i do think that piracy wasn't the best way to fight back against greedy bands like metallica (FUCK YOU LARS YOU DIRTY PIECE OF SHIT,) but apps like spotify that benefit the artists and allow free streaming with ads are fantastic and help get the music to the people

He made some good stuff, but a lot of it was pretty average.
To be honest, I can't remember anything other than the intro of Samurai Champloo when it comes to his work on anime OSTs.
He produced a lot of the SC soundtrack with Fat Jon, and the reason you wouldn't have heard him in other anime OSTs would be because Champloo was the only anime he worked on. Here is his first studio album, Metaphorical Music, which is absolutely fantastic.

Zen Buddhism in Imperial Japan, and Theravada Buddhism currently in Myanmar, have been exceptionally violent. It's more to do with tribalism in the second example, though, rather than any explicit doctrinal prescription.
