lol at non-STEM folks taking the STEM master race crap seriously.
You realize some people really think that, right?
a lot of people. so many, in fact, that its actually profoundly difficult to tell when someone isnt being serious about it.

Why would someone major in STEM and work their whole college life away?
Why would someone pay to go to school and waste it partying w/ a bunch folks who'll forget you even exist in a couple of years?
This isn't even about STEM. If you pay to go to school and don't work, you're wasting your time.
frat/sorority networks benefit members for life, actually. frats and sororities also do a lot of charity work for their local communities.

This STEM circlejerk is going to kill the demand for STEM majors in a decade or two, you know.
I think it's mostly an internet thing. Kind of like the fedora atheists.
worse than the fedora atheists honestly. at least the atheists are right about their metaphysical worldview. the STEM majors think theyre the only ones who will ever get hired, ever.

Did you realize how mediocre it actually is?
the campaign level design is absolutely awful
kill yourselves plebs.
I thought we had something Azu.
oh dont get me wrong; i love halo 1-3. i think Halo: CE is one of the most competitive FPS games of all time, and i respect the shit out of bungie for being able to make a game with such a ridiculous skillcap. the campaign's story was really cool and the physics and mechanics came together to make a really great, fresh FPS experience. however, the campaign's level design was dreadfully bad. thats all there is to it. id still give CE an 8/10

Is hating on arts the new ebin mememay? Been seeing this since 2013.
STEM circlejerk, with STEM majors thinking that the world runs on STEM. It's been like that for a while, hell even my lecturers make fun of arts majors for some reason.
everyone likes to feel superior, and the arts majors are the easiest targets to pick on.

Why would someone major in STEM and work their whole college life away?
huge workloads arent limited to STEM fields. history majors and lit majors spend a ridiculous chunk of time reading books, writing massive papers, doing tons of research, etc. lots of work is just something college students need to be prepared for

Right, you can explain this. Why do people get so butthurt about Sep7agon over at bnet? I saw a thread a few days ago and it seemed like a lot of people were shit flinging at Sep7agon, but I'm not Sep7agon has actually done anything whatsoever.
the mains have always talked shit about offsites. this is nothing new

Never shopped at goodwill. Don't even really get the point of it.
sometimes you can find nice shit for cheap. the thing about goodwill is that anyone can bring pretty much anything to donate; depending on how lucky you are, your goodwill could have a bunch of shitty hand me downs, or a bunch of pretty nice Ralph Lauren/Brooks Brothers stuff that just happened to be pre-owned and much cheaper than it would be from the original retailers

Why would a STEM person take the LSAT? Actually, it's not uncommon for aspiring lawyers to take majors in college other than pre-law, because this means their bases are covered if they fail to get into law school, or lose interest in law.
happens this way for a lot of post-graduate degrees. if your undergrad and postgrad are all in different fields, you have more expertise and qualifications than if you had the same field for all of em. lots of potential benefits. also, please provide a source for the OP. id very much like to see it.

gotta love how any thread about college majors devolves into this juvenile "stem vs non-stem" bullshit. sometimes i forget how young bnet's audience skewed, but stuff like this makes me remember. so much naiveté
I'm a freshman and college and an engineer major and these people spewing stem nonsense are just plain annoying. I know millionaire who don't even have high school diplomas
these kids clearly have such a skewed worldview. thinking that your future well-being is decided solely by what you choose to study (or not study...) i bet they think people actually look at "permanent records," too
