This caught my interest until I realized it was entirely about a casul pleb tier game.
> casual

league might be the most time-intensive video game that exists...

I play the games for the campaigns nowadays.  If Halo 5's campaign is as well-written as 4's then I'll be happy.

>Halo 4
>Well-written

LMFAO that's the funniest thing I've ever this week
that seems to be a popular sentiment here for some reason. dont ask me why though. h4 was trash all the way through. a stain on the franchise.

I agree, I thought Reach was the worst it can get but Halo 4 proved me wrong.

I enjoyed Reach's campaign. I don't take it as canon really, but it was fun. The cutscenes were certainly top tier.
it was pretty... best aesthetic direction bungie took for any of their games imo. but the writing was fucking abysmal. the characters were bigger idiots than the crew in Prometheus. there was no real character development that made me care about any of them except for Emile and Jorge. made the entire tragedy feel so much less like what it was

these arent the mushrooms i was hoping to find in this thread. also, that first picture freaks me out
Maybe read the full title?

... excuse me?
I'm telling you to stick to these mushrooms, meaning that I limit myself to some mushrooms, so you shouldn't go in expecting your expectations. You can't help but to expect them, but you can de-expect them after you've done so.
oh, no. i meant something else. other mushrooms. wink wink.

Then there you go, because ODST is not important enough. It's falling back to the trope that Don Mattrick had, don't have internet? Stick with the 360.

Want ODST Firefight? Stick with the 360.
Stop being a mong. ODST's FF not being included in the MCC ODST isn't anything like the horse shit Don Mattrick was spewing.

FF isn't included because they'd be spread out even thinner, which would impact Halo 5.
i feel like ODST firefight would be a fucking nightmare to port
Exactly. It isn't the most stable thing as it is already.
yeah. i dont know how netcoding works, but i do know that ODST's was broken as all hell, and that would NOT be fun to fix.

also, did deci just use a desticle argument? "if you dont like destiny, why did you come to the destiny website?"

id love to see the credentials deci has for this.

"heres why you should listen to me about halo: i suck dick at every halo game"

*sigh*

Good one.
no really, please provide a list of credentials. id love to be able to take you seriously.

You're just going to end up making fun of me, so no.
now do you see how silly this is, then?

It was just suppose to be constructive feedback, the only reason why I'm not telling you what I would say to 343 is because you'd just give me shit.
im humoring your argument much more than 343 ever would

It's seemingly ironic when people complain about others in this way. You didn't prove them wrong by crying about it
Just saying.

Regardless of their poor presentation in the tweet
The argument still stands that we need more effective affordable education systems.
thats not irony

theyre wrong because thats fundamentally incredibly... wrong. theres no other way to say it. they clearly didnt pay attention in school. information doesnt just sit in someone's head until it is unlocked by the magic of education.

Let me ask you
What gain is there to whine about it?

Legit sarcastic free question
not whining, im using this as humor fodder

Works pretty well for almost all other developed countries.
and unfortunately, america is very special... in a not so good way. i dont know if it would work here. im no expert. all i know is that the system we're working on right now is absolutely not ideal. any reform at all would be welcomed by me.

I can never get over how populist US politics are.
populism is an inherent and deeply involved facet of the democratic system; every democratic government around the world is populist.

did you mean bipartisan?
I didn't mean bipartisan, no. I'm talking about populist in the sense of appealing to the petty emotions and fears of the general public, exploiting topics by portraying them in an extremely biased and overly simplified kind of way.

I also never said the US political system was the only populist one. All democratic systems are that way to a certain degree. The US, however, is just so much far out there than any other country I know.
ah, it makes more sense in that context. you're right about that. im not sure why that is, either. i think it has something to do with mass media consumption by the public; its certainly very easy to get a message out here, and since most people are functionally braindead, its even easier to play on ethos and pathos to build up certain cultural archetypes and establish political norms that wouldnt make any sense at all to a foreigner.

there is a book by alexis de tocqueville, "de la democratie en amerique," which examines the state of american democracy in the formative years of the Jacksonian era. toqueville makes a lot of excellent points about the nature of our system which hold true to this very day. its a bit of a dense tome, but worth the read- tocqueville's unique perspective as a french intellectual gave him unique insight, and his rhetoric flows well in most translations luckily.

the story of how he got off in the trial of the murder of morris black (his friend/neighbor) is really fucking wacky, like OJ-caliber legal fuckery. his lawyers (the top legal team in texas) managed an expert character assassination of black on top of a self-defense plea, while repeatedly reminding the jury that durst was on trial for murder, not dismemberment (which he fully admitted to in court.)

all of black's body parts were found, except for his head, which would have been a crucial piece of evidence; a bullet hole in the back of his skull would have thrown any plausibility of durst's acting in self defense out the window.

lawyers are fucking warlocks, i swear.
