there was no reversing what bungie did. the community was extremely vocal about our opinions. they never listened. they didnt manage the site properly, kept minimal oversight over the ninjas (who were actually ok as a whole, but there were a few really bad eggs,) and followed the money trail wherever it led. they were the architects of their own destruction.
They listened pretty well... to the community forum. You know, where they talked about the site itself in a meta sort of way? Yeah, that place that we never really understood what to do in? Were like, people circlejerked the mods and staff and tried to get questions in the mail sack? They wanted everything that b.next was.
it was impossible to get a word in edgewise in the community forum if you werent a massive cocksucker. ugh. they really should have outsourced multiplayer design philosophy to the best halo players on the site, too. if we had been allowed equal balance input with their internal designers we could have kept halo 3 and reach constantly updating with new balance changes to make sure we could reach an optimal experience for all players. destiny would have been an entirely different beast to deal with, but that may have happened differently in an alternate timeline where bungie didnt fuck up...

edit: besides, it was honestly never a utopian paradise anyway. the mains were clusterfucked. private groups were generally hostile to each other and offsites caused more sectional dysfunction later in b.old's life. it was unstable for a long time and imploded on itself.

I don't want to play an old game I've already played and when does wow release on ps4 or Xbox 360
never. ESO might be an ok buy if you are really opposed to playing PC, i suppose. there isnt a whole lot of MMO competition on consoles.

I play the games for the campaigns nowadays. If Halo 5's campaign is as well-written as 4's then I'll be happy.

idk why you go to that any time someone talks shit about h4. i didnt like any of the campaigns except h2 and odst. i played halo for the competitive multiplayer. i watch movies and read books for good stories.

You can't honestly compare a 5 year old game like LoL to the competitive classics that haven't been mastered after 20 years of esports.
League is pretty casual. Its competitive scene is artificial and likely detrimental to esports as a whole. While the game takes a lot of practice and the sheer number of champions / builds makes it pretty time-intensive to learn, it really is a low tier competitive game.
Not saying it's a bad game at all, but I can't support what it's doing to esports as a whole and, having played it quite a bit myself, I can safely say that it's far from being on the same level as other competitive games.
how much do you actually know about the LCS infrastructure? league of legends pros have the best jobs in all of pro gaming. it's made more millionaires than any other professional video game. league isnt casual at all. its imbalanced as hell and terrible, but it is an EXTREMELY competitive game at the end of the day. to be the best, you have to play 12+ hours a day. thats not casual. thats horrifying.
