Rome had the same kinda melting pot culture and everyone circle jerks over them.
so did egypt! also, most first world countries today are developing melting pot cultures

I've been there before. It's nice, but my family there are having a hard time living there, and they say that there's not much of a future in South Africa.
fast growing industrialized nation with a unique culture and significant regional influence. certainly not my first choice but i could see myself living there

I dunno why anyone would wanna move to Japan. It's culture is really fucking shit if you actually take your time to look outside anime and realize what's going on.
my big concern with japan is industry pollution in the cities + population density. learning how to move around a city like tokyo would make me go into culture shock all on its own

because i actually believe that america has incubated and catalyzed the growth of an incredibly diverse cultural monolith. there's no "failure" about it. cultural aspects from every foreign power which has contributed emigrants to america have assimilated into each other, imbuing the population with hyper-diversity over the course of what is in the grand scheme of things a very short time. the great american melting pot is no myth.
those who believe that the United States has no culture are ignorant, whether it be willfully or accidentally. those with even a tenuous grasp on the workings of our history understand this to be a fact.
When I travel through the public and cities.. something just feels hollow about the environment. Strangers don't stay awhile and listen, seems like they have their own little world in their heads and they quickly rush through to get home.
I don't hear about people having traditions or routines anymore.. they are sporadic, confused or down in the pooper. This and more is why I don't feel America has a true, genuine culture.
well thats a poor basis on which to build that argument. your personal experiences are latently laced with bias. you need to look at the big picture, rather than the microcosm in which you live. throw out any presuppositions about culture that you might have and educate yourself on american history. we are an incredibly culturally diverse nation. that much is evident even in our modern media, twisted though those values may be.

you're hearing some overhype, but it really is a very good album. only one track i didnt like. he's made consistent improvement over the course of the 3 albums he's released so far. his music is pretty unique in the rap game, especially this album.

also, he isnt straight edge. he's a former alcoholic, and he's drinking again. he doesnt smoke weed because his first blunt was laced with either coke or angel dust. he just happens to be very conscious of these issues, like you said.

not sure, havent had time to analyze the lyrics yet, still getting a feel for the production and vocal flow
