The Flood / Re: So I decided on becoming a Firefighter« on: April 14, 2015, 07:44:26 PM »no specialization, i dont have the variety of course offerings required in order to specialize. the closest thing i have to an "area of expertise" is US HistoryIs your History degree a specialized one or just the broader subject. Like, is it focusing on any particular era or not?oh, yeah, i get that. im getting a history degree, too. but im just gonna try to use it to get into a library science program.I was more trying to emphasize that he got a degree based on its difficulty to obtain rather than being interested in the subject. I don't care that he got a History degree at all. In fact, I'm doing a Political Science degree which is about equally as useless if you don't plan on getting a job in that field. But the difference is that I'm actually interested in this field.the subject field doesnt matter really, the military only wants to mold you into something they can use, and the degree proves that youre competent, so they let you be an officer. and its not like military jobs require people with extremely particular skillsets. you learn on the job in 90% of military careers. He got a degree in History though.I never decided on a career, and I'm finished with college now. Biggest mistake of my life.I mean I guess you could try military, I think with all your college experience you get a rank up and more pay. 4624

we've already had games in classrooms. i spent my formative years playing oregon trail, 3d space pinball, where in the world is carmen san diego, odell down under, amazon trail, yukon trail, and a FUCK TON of other educational games in the classroom.

Hey, nerds. I'm your newest Legendary Overlord, so it's about time I get some sweet tax revenue from you poor fuckers in the form of Custom nameplates.
Do whatever you want. Base it off my interests, do something unique, ask me if I want anything in particular, go ham. But I swear to atheist jesus, if any of you disappoint me, I'm going to kill Decimator Omega, who I currently have tied up in my backyard. now get to work 4636
