Aren't both sides morally ambiguous?
the stormcloaks didnt have great moral ground to stand on

If you were all that concerned with morality you'd be an anarchist.
morality is relative, friend
Spoiler
also it's not

The game feels schizophrenic, like it can't quite decide if it's a fighting game or an RPG. It was fun until I realized that it was mostly a game of numbers instead of a game of skill.
min/maxing wont win fights for you alone, you do need significant skill to be a good pvp player
Unless the person you are fighting is a modder X_X And stats are maxed passed 100 each.
yeah i heard the PC version had bad problems with cheaters in online PVP. and i know that about the stats..

The competitive community has always been the minority. Competitive playlists might have had a healthy population, but they've always been lower than the regular playlists.

There were less competitive playlists, so the numbers looked big because they all congregated there, however there was always more choice for non-competetive play, therefore the majority was spread out between them.

Team slayer used to have like 1/3 of the entire population on h3.....

Team slayer was ranked. You know, competitive.....

Team slayer. Deathmatch always has the vast majority of the playerbase on just about any shooter. Your tryhard league has nothing to do with it.
except team slayer somehow held that massive population despite having competition in the form of team snipers, team swat, and social slayer... at least 3 other playlists to steal the deathmatch population, and yet TS still stood tall. i dont understand your argument.

Competitive halo was never the minority.

Maybe MLG competitive people. But not just regular competitive people. Ranked playlists were always HUGEly populated.

I still believe that taking out the 1-50 rank system was one of the bigger reasons on why halo took a nosedive.
arenas ranking system was so fucking godawful until the TU ugh. rank based on personal performance instead of w/l is flat out retarded. we needed a happy medium between halo 2's "literally impossible to get a 50" and halo 3's "HEREY OU GET A 50! YOU GET A 50! 50 FOR EVERYONE!" im not sure how mcc's ranking system works but i think its marginally better than we've had before. the h5 beta ranking system was really fucking dumb though

halo is dead.
shit like this is retarded
reach and h4 hemorrhaged their populations horribly. mcc too. they cant hold a candle to the populations sustained by H2 and H3 in the golden years. ever since being dropped from the MLG circuit, Halo has quite literally been on life support.
Oh, you meant competitive Halo. Well yeah.
Halo as a franchise is anything but dead however.

The population argument is kind of flawed, but whatever.
well yeah, competitive halo is what propped the series up for years. without competitive halo, the franchise will never be able to compete with other (worse) console FPS series. M$/343 may be injecting it with a steady supply of money, but the franchise is still a shadow of its former self
Competitive Halo was a minority. It's casual players that made up the mass numbers of the populations for 2/3. This has always been the case.
i meant that, without competitive halo keeping the game alive in CE/the early days of H2, we would never have come to this point. of course casuals outnumber the competitive community, but theyre also much more fickle, and not terribly useful either- casuals dont pressure developers to fix their shit. and thats how we end up with lazy rehashed bullshit year after year

and i think, when it comes to hemorrhaged populations, the argument is fine. the opposite is fallacious- popularity=/=good game, but when a game has a massive initial population that just... disappears in a few months, thats very very very telling.

and its a fucking miracle that we passed that med. mj legislation at all. our governor is an incompetent thieving shitheel and did his best to keep marijuana out of our state. i hope nathan deal chokes and dies on his dinner tonight.

in any case, i smoke weed.

and live in my state wow!
yeah it's a revolutionary step for the south.
Florida voted on it and it passed, here's a link:
http://www.mpp.org/states/florida/
iirc they had a vote on recreational last midterm season and it failed because they needed a 60% supermajority and only got like 56% of something like that. gotta love the south.

It did have great gameplay, only MUH MLG fags didn't get on well with it.
It was just a terrible addition to the franchise and changed the formula of multiplayer a bit too much for most vocal people to handle.
i dont mind changing the formula, but it was pretty obvious that bungie didnt give 2 shits about competitive balance. or anything else about that game for that matter. that results in the broken piece of crap that we got. they didnt even update it. it was an abomination, a stain on a once great franchise, and the reason that halo is dead.

i think the thought goes that a democratically elected oligarchy can make better decisions than the entirety of the citizenry, on account of people not really knowing whats best for themselves. now, in an ideal world, where we have potent and substantive public education, representative democracy and all of its drawbacks can be cast off- but we dont live in that world yet.

veering uncomfortably close to islamophobia here..
That's what I hate about threads like these. They just end up being Islamophobic circlejerks.
im all for criticism of religion, but when you use vitriol like this its just... i dont even want to read posts so full of hate.

got some news to break for you, israel isnt some victim constantly under bombardment by the evil muslim overlords. israel and hamas are both equally at fault.
They actually are under constant bombardment by Hamas. If you actually knew what was going on over there you'd know its a tactic used by Hamas, to simply constantly launch missiles at Israel at no specific target to keep them afraid. And I think my friend with PTSD who lives in Israel knows more about this than you do, since you can't even look up a simple news article to see what Hamas does.

I don't think Israel should even exist. But that has nothing to do with how disgusting Hamas and Palestine are.
the phrasing was wonky. i didnt mean that they arent being shelled often. the other part of the post is what you should have read.

The only one I really like is Deadshot. The rest look like cosplayers.
well i mean they are a bunch of rando one off villains. theyre not exactly gonna have polished, "iconic" looks
I get that this is supposed to be a grittier, more realistic universe, but specifically Katana and El Diablo look pretty weak and it really drags down the look of the rest of them.  I'm sure it will look better in the final product but none of these DC character reveals have sold me on this universe yet.
there's more to a movie than costume departments. dont let this affect your perception.
Man of Steel did, mostly.
man of steel was a good movie

This argument is over. I don't care whether I'm considered the "winner" or "loser". But it's clear from your other posts that you hate Islam for more personal reasons, and I don't blanket hate on groups because of what a small minority of them have done.
Nope, I dislike Islam because of all the bullshit it causes and has caused. Apart from it personally affecting my and my family. And friends. I have Jewish friends in Israel who have grown up hearing bombs every night and have PTSD because of Muslims.

The violent Muslims are not a small minority. Not even close.

sorry to butt in here but why are we veering off and talking about representing Muslims?

the actions here have nothing to do with them. this discussion is focused on those who would kill/harm others in the name of Islam.

everyone knows there is an overwhelming majority of of peaceful Muslims in the world and no one is denying it  but even .01 percent of 1.6 billion is a lot of fucking people willing to cause harm

no one here has said anything against them.
because obviously if a couple muslims commit a violent act, then every single muslim worldwide must share their exact same mindset!

... right?

right?

... oh

back in the 90's, the bhutanese government exiled the lhotshampa, ethnic hindus, 1/5 of the country's population. is that an accurate reflection of the values of buddhism? certainly not. to assume otherwise would be foolish.

timothy mcveigh and terry nichols killed 168 people. they were christians. do their actions reflect the values of christianity?

do not judge the whole for the actions of the few.
Except the majority of Muslims are shitty people that have an ass backwards culture and society snd attack people who question it.

Again, get back to me when you and your family have been persecuted.
And there's the underlying reason for your hatred. Your family was driven out of Iran by Muslims, so now you hate them. Nice work.

My family was driven out Africa by blacks, yet none of us hate them as a result of pure butthurt.

Grow up Challenger.
>butthurt
>family members literally raped, killed and robbed by Muslims

Drink some bleach.

Even if I wasn't personally affected by their bullshit, I'd still think the same thing. I'm just more anti Muslim because they've directly attacked my family. Doesn't mean I hate every Muslim I see.
living with so much hate in your heart will bring you to the grave at an early age. learn to let go, you fool.
