Victarion Greyjoy, the Lord Captain of the Iron Fleet of Pyke and one of the greatest warriors alive. He wears full plate during naval battle because he has no fear of drowning. He is one of Balon Greyjoy's brothers, and competed against the likes of Euron and Asha Greyjoy (Yara in the show) for the right to be King of Pyke after Balon's death. Euron was ultimately elected at the Kingsmoot because he has a horn that is said to be able to enthrall dragons. Euron sent Victarion to reave his way through the Narrow Sea and bring back Daenerys so that she may take Euron as her husband. On the way, Victarion suffered a nasty injury when he caught a blade with his hand, and he met a red priest who healed the wound and basically gave him a volcano arm. tl;dr Victarion motherfucking Greyjoy is one of the most badass warriors alive in the series. Victarion's important enough to get an actor like Ian McShane, but they haven't even hinted at the Greyjoy plot yet. By now they're supposed to have arrived at Meereen, ready to fuck shit up and claim a dragon. With so many important characters relocating to Essos, I can see them spending a lot of time on those plot threads, building up for some sort of invasion in seasons 7 and the final battles in 8.
he's probably gonna be Randyll Tarly. He fits their casting call almost to a T. I imagine theyre messing with Sam's storyline and having him meet gilly and her son at Horn Hill before he gets to Oldtown. Maybe right as Randyll leaves for KL.
Randyll Tarly is almost entirely unimportant, especially now that his interactions with Brienne are cut.

To me some of the things they added seemed like they were trying them out to see if they want to have them in Destiny or see how they work. So by "demo for Destiny" they were using Reach for the test game. For bloom to me they testing out a recoil mechanic they were thinking about using for it. For armor abilities I find it strange that they added something majoir like that in their last Halo game. You would think adding something as game changing like that would be in Halo 3 so they know what not to do for Reach. Having them in Destiny to me is implying they were testing them out to see if they would work good or not for Destiny.
Bloom was just a half-baked response to "BR is too good at too long range." Nothing more, nothing less.
Halo 3 had pick-up equipment on the map, seems ike a big change from H2's guns and 'nades only stuff. AA's were simply the next natural step in a franchise that was slowly becoming less and less pure arena shooter.
equipment on map could have been done a lot better. tho there was precedent for map pickups/powerups in the camo and ovies that had been in the games since CE. armor abilities in a loadout system was just a massive step backwards in terms of balance, even from the equipment in h3

New one looks sorta neat.

I would have figured you'd've been a fan of the needler though. Which was a godsend in CE and hilarious in 2 when dual wielded.

You guys dissing FF are dumb. That was the most fun thing in the game.
The way it was implemented in matchmaking was awful. Playing an actual survival gametype was fun as hell like in ODST, but the arcadefight shit was terribad.
Nonsense. I always had a fucking blast with it.
I actually liked Reach's firefight more than ODST's. It was nice having a chance to win, not hiding from enemies and running out of ammo 5 minutes in.
also it actually worked and didnt have horrible lag problems like ODSTs

it was hard to really care about any of the members of noble other than yourself. jorge was about the only one with any real characterization, and his death actually kinda hit home- the rest of them? entirely forgettable characters who seemed like they existed just to die.
i liked the reach campaign more than the ce, h3, and h4 campaigns tho.
