NASA excitement is different from our excitement.
"amazing"= geological formation we didnt know about "cool"= geological formation we did know about
Generally, yes, but the Martian liquid water announcement was pretty spectacular.
it was cool but not all that surprising

Youre pathetic
he works hard to make a positive difference in his physical health and appearance.. but fuck him for being proud of that amirite
Good for him.
Its his attitude.
but is it really any worse than what most of the other users here do? at least he isnt shitposting or inventing new fallacies like half the serious board.
I just cant stand attention seeking or people who are way over their heads
so you choose to give him attention when you perceive that he wants it by posting in his thread you're an enabler! this is really your fault

jive do you ever worry about getting addicted to the lifestyle and fucking yourself up? or do you have good self-control and DISCIPRINE.
i know a lot of guys who used to look great who just kept fucking going because they were never satisfied and now they look like freaks. i feel bad for them but its all their own fault.

I read it as "Ben Carson, the retarded neurosurgeon" at first glance. Can't say I was wrong either.
the movie poster backs you up tbh

If you've ever met someone that went into the military being a complete jackass (I've met a few personally) it really changes them for the better.
Not to disregard your other points, but I can disagree with this. A lot of Marines I've seen have turned out arrogant as fuck because "Lol I'm a Marine now". It's fucking annoying, the brainwashed idiots.
I've known a lot of servicepeople who let their service flavor their entire life that way. They always have to butt into conversations with some barely relevant information about something that happened their military service

Not bad. Like others have said he's still new and seems a little nervous especially in interviews.
But pretty funny. Jordan klepper is hilarious. Glad he's had a couple of bits.
he has great on screen chemistry with like, everyone on the show. he's easily my favorite "new" addition to the correspondent cast.

Never watched the old or new show.
news shows dont really hold up but you should dig around and try to find some of the best correspondent sketches TDS has done throughout the years. theyve had some GREAT moments

Trevor Noah walks out onstage and the audience goes wild. He takes a couple mock bows and then waves his hands as if to say "knock it off you guys, I'm just a regular guy just like you!" The applause dies down and Noah takes his seat. The studio is silent and there is an air of expectation hanging in the room. "So folks did you hear about what happened on Capitol Hill today?" The audience can hardly contain themselves, they're hanging on Noah's every word. They know the punch line is coming. "Well it turns out Republicans voted to pass some new legislation that will make it more difficult for women to have abortions." Already stifled giggles are begging to leak from the captivated viewers. Noah pauses for a moment and then makes a funny face at the camera. The audience erupts in uproarious laughter, scattered shouts of "he made the face again!" can be heard between the cascading guffaws that reverberate throughout the studio. Noah has them just where he wants them and goes in for the kill: "DUDE REPUBLICANS LMAO." Any remaining restraint that may have been in the studio evaporates under the thunderous laughing that is now shaking the very foundations of the studio. Even the cameramen can no longer contain themselves as tears of joy roll down their faces at another perfectly delivered Trevor Noah zinger.
i, too, like to oversimplify actual events in order to make a point

his first week was OK. he's still shaky and a bit nervous. his interviewing isnt great- see the seth rogen interview for example. they didnt pick the best guests but that cant be helped i guess. i think he has great chemistry with the correspondents. this is certainly a hell of a lot better than the nightly show

tbh this is the only kind of payment feature they should have implemented. paying for cosmetics is just fine. they shouldnt have charged people an arm and a leg for glorified gameplay patches. this is just icing on the cake now.
