I don't listen to this Uncle Tom ass motherfucker, why would I want to read what he says?
It's more about the interactions with Kai. If you had bothered to open it up, you would see that Carson was dodgy on pretty much every remotely "tough" question and completely embarrassed himself on national radio.

Considering Columbus Day already is nothing but a "discuss how white settlers fucked everything up" day, might as well. Same thing, different name.
We fucked up a bunch of savages that weren't going to ever advance or do anything with this land?
See, this is the kind of ridiculous, unsubstantiated, racist bullshit that needs to be dealt with on this board. Try reading a fucking book sometime. Here's a graphic representing Tenochtitlan- the capital of the Aztec empire in modern Mexico City. Tenochtitlan was a sprawling metropolis home to somewhere between 200,000 and 300,000 people when the Spanish arrived. The Natives had a complex understanding of agriculture. You know corn doesn't exist naturally? Native groups figured out how to fucking make it. And they figured out a great way to grow it with other significant foods and hit a nutrition sweet spot. There's just... Jesus Christ dude, when was the last time you even tried to learn about Native Americans? How can you seriously say something like that? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Moundhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocmulgee_National_Monumenthttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Sisters_(agriculture) http://nationalhumanitiescenter.org/tserve/nattrans/ntecoindian/essays/indimage.htmhttp://www.native-languages.org/iaq14.htmhttp://www.amazon.com/Ancient-Cahokia-Mississippians-Studies-Societies/dp/0521520665https://www.upress.umn.edu/book-division/books/firsting-and-lasting

On October 7, 2015, Ben Carson sat down with Kai Ryssdal on his American Public Media radio show Marketplace. This was a long form interview that took about 30 minutes- luckily, they have a transcript of the exchange on their website, so those of us who would rather read may do so. http://www.marketplace.org/topics/elections/full-interview-dr-ben-carson-economy

I loved Season 1. Season 2 was pretty good for the most part. Season 3 was fucking awful. Season 4 was fucking awful. I have no reason to believe Season 5 wont be fucking awful but I'll give it a chance anyway.

but the public education in america is bad enough to carry a lot of fault for these sorts of things as well.
Both US and UK universities are highly competitive on a global scale; they really are rather good.
oh, i mean the primary and secondary schooling, like ages 6-18 or whatever age kids start school at. i know our postsecondary/graduate institutions are good.
I don't see how poor primary and secondary schooling (which has been poor for a while) would contribute to the dominance of progressives in academia and on campuses.
its more that a large, poorly educated population of youths is naturally going to do stupid shit en masse. it just manifests itself in different ways in unique contexts.

now that im done, i think this is due to the massive amounts of young people now entering academia who might otherwise be better suited for technical college/skilled labor, and the overall de-valuation (through many different systems) of universities' statuses as centers for the constant evolution of knowledge and perception. im not sure how public education is in your country but the public education in america is bad enough to carry a lot of fault for these sorts of things as well.

buh muh history class o the dark ages
A lot of History class is half-truths and bs.
I had to create an anti-Napoleon presentation with a group, and the teacher assigned me 3 pages from a text for reference. The other 7 pages were putting those 3 pages into context. In the end I found out more information supporting Napoleon than the pro-Napoleon group did.
yeah. a lot of people, even honors and AP students, come out of high school with only a rudimentary understanding of history itself, and a pathetic ignorance of the various disciplinary frameworks which support the pursuit of historical knowledge. STEM kids who understand theoretical physics or advanced calculus but cant write a historiography or review an academic piece for shit. its sad, really... and the historical discipline as a whole gets a bad rep because everyone thinks of college as a job factory, and they think historians have no real world skills, so no one gets interested in history and they have kids that dont care about it and the ignorance begets itself again and again.

Yeah, Bards aren't high DPS's. They're good in Raids with 8 people or more, but with 4? 2 of them is just trouble. 1 isn't really viable either.
So we weren't killing the things we needed to in time and it was getting late and I had to do other things so I said screw it and got off.
I just finished it about an hour ago though. I really think I need to do a different class.
how is tank DPS in that game? in WOW tanks do the most damage up until like levels 70-80 and then theyre still competitive with most legit DPS classes up through endgame. i just cant imagine having to quit a WOW dungeon because we had like, two Arms Warriors or something. do Bards not have any subclasses to give them more specialization when they're potentially with other bards in a raid?
