when done right, a choose your own adventure "game" can be very good. wolf among us would be my example.

Being a slaver in F3 was amazing.
I wish you could in NV, I mean caesers legion was full of slavers so it's dumb you couldn't do it for money kn the side. They could have done it easily with the set up at cottonwood.
I remember hearing that Caesar's Legion was supposed to be way more in depth than they were in NV, but rushed game and cut content and all

(see: wolf among us) tales from the borderlands was pure pandering shit. not that theres a real difference between "playing" telltale games and watching them, in any case

I don't even consider Telltale to be a game developer. They're movie producers.
Damn, those numerous other point and click games that existed must have been movies as well.
they basically are. point/click and QTE exemplify casual pandering. its literally just a different way to tell a story. its more like tv than movies or games. a "choose your own adventure" story for the modern age. they werent ever real games.
