New Vegas>2>1=4>3
havent played any of the others. dont really understand why people are so taken aback by the 90s era CRPG mechanics of the first two games. its not like they arent fully functional. just takes a little bit to get used to.

Again, I think you've got me pegged all wrong. I am not anti-refugee. I do not believe that there is a significant chance that refugees will commit acts of terror within our borders. Please stop acting as though I've presented myself that way.
Okay :<
It's fine; I understand where you're coming from. A lot of people are reacting in very unreasonable ways and treating the refugees unfairly. It's easy to see where my OP might be interpreted in a different way than I meant it. That's my own fault for not being thorough with my rhetoric.
I was more so stating that you have nothing to be afraid of because they're not terrorists. Not so much you were anti immigration.
I was never overly concerned about that anyway. The idea is that the already extremely slim possibility is pretty much negated entirely by our thorough national security measures

I feel like I'm caught in a game of pedantics because I mentioned the PATRIOT act instead of just saying mass surveillance. My bad. Sorry. I'll do more thorough research before speaking about policy in the future.

I really just don't get the thought process
>9/11 happens >Things like the patriot act happen in response >More terrorist things happen >"Yeah, this really makes me have faith in the patriot act"
Wut
You're mischaracterizing my position.

refugees and the possibility of extremists hiding among them is what prompted me to have a little more faith in the PATRIOT Act and America's ability to keep the people safe.
Even though they were all european nationals
screening for refugees here is already more thorough than you'd think
You don't have to tell me that. Believe me, I know about the 18-24 month long vetting process. I'm not anti-refugee and I've never made any claims that refugees were responsible for the Parisian massacre. All I'm saying is that the existence of America's mass surveillance programs gives me a stronger sense of security. The fact that the 1-2 thousand Syrian refugees who have already entered our country have not committed acts of terror tells me that we're doing something right with regard to both the vetting process and our ability to monitor people within the nation.
That... and they're probably not terrorists and just normal every day middle class citizens trying to get away from a faction that is worse than the Nazi's.

I'm much more open to the idea that mass surveillance is actually helpful, despite being a unilateral human rights abuse. The recent tensions re: refugees and the possibility of extremists hiding among them is what prompted me to have a little more faith in the PATRIOT Act and America's ability to keep the people safe.

Seriously, cis people talk about trans people more than we do
You fuckers need to chill
"CIS" people don't exist, that's a label made up by SJWs to feel better about themselves
ladies and gentlemen, exhibit a for why this isnt really a serious board.
Dismissing the beliefs of others, no matter how ridiculous they seem to you, is a mindset that inevitably harms free-thinking and progress.
If someone has a radically different perception of a subject than you, consider why they have it; certainly don't leap to they're wrong, immature, knuckle-draggers. Think about where they come from, what are their fundamental beliefs, and how did they get to that perception they hold. Then, if you desire to, engage them in debate about where you think they go wrong and appeal to them appropriately.
For someone who, as I recall, holds up the virtue of logic I find it remarkable you consistently act this way towards others.
that might hold up if we weren't talking about midg. he constantly makes ridiculous, outrageous, inflammatory claims that he doesnt back up with sources. he's demonstrated an unwillingness to entertain ideas contrary to his own. essentially, he's a confirmed troll and the way he acts in this board should not be acceptable. you should be able to understand that, given his history here.
point me to other incidents like this and ill gladly answer for each of them in turn.
Plenty of times he doesn't care or believe what he's saying, so it's fair to just ignore those comments or laugh them off.
on the flood and gaming, sure. on the serious board, we should not tolerate it.

Fallout 4 is shit. End of discussion.
um no i disagree
ur rong
The vanilla game is a technical mess and the graphics are a strain on the eyes.
> caring this much about graphics
how does it feel to be a casual
I care when the game's terribly unoptimized and should in no way require the specs it's demanding.
and that's very reasonable. "graphics are a strain on the eyes" is less reasonable by several degrees.

You should probably start the MQ now. It leads you to rivet city quickly, and you get some cool loot from those quests.
Also, do Anchorage (Quest: Aiding the Outcasts) as your first DLC. It's the easiest by far and gives you some great rewards at the end. It gives you Power Armour Training, too, so you can use power armour at any point in the game.
and a nice suit of 10million hp winterized t51b power armor

It feels like it's only focused on the PC culture/social issues
and while that's fine, I wish they'd offer more diversity and have some of their sillier episodes again.
What ever happened to the aliens and the TV show? That kinda stuff.
did you see last or this week's episode? things got pretty silly
