Mago, Irri, Rakharo, Xaro Xhoan Daxos, Pyat Pree, Pyp, Grenn, Ser Barristan Selmy, Queen Selyse, Princess Shireen, Princess Myrcella, Mance Rayder, and King Stannis are all dead in the show, alive in the books.

So Stannis is confirmed dead in the show.

But, Jon Snow isn't on there!

...i'm trying
Jon will/does die. The thing is, he's 99% gonna be brought back to life, probably by Mel.

Glad that Walton Goggins got a big role in this movie, instead of a side role like in Django. Also based Tim Roth.
walton goggins is such a good actor. hope he gets more big roles going into the future.

I really need to get back to watching Justified.
i never finished it, watched maybe the first four seasons? its been long enough i figure i may as well start it all over again at some point.

also its funny to me that tarantino was so pissed off when the script originally leaked, then relented and decided to film it anyway, and now the film itself gets leaked with a bunch of others because of some asshole exec. hope the bottom line doesnt suffer too much. i might still go see it in theatres tbh

Destiny tbh. When I played the beta I was actually interested to see how all the factions and storylines would play out with Bungie's promise of "a massive solar-system sized game world"

all I need to say is that there is nothing wrong with White people wanting to be surrounded by other White people in their own goddamn countries.
um..

i disagree.
Could you explain why? do you hold the same belief for other races?
because that's racist? i shouldnt need to explain this.
How is loving your own people even remotely the same as hating other people? You do need to explain this because what you've said makes no sense at all. Is an Irish person racist for wanting their small Irish town to be just that, a small Irish town?
if said irish person doesnt want people of color living in his town then yes, that is racist.

Quote
More importantly are you holding non-whites to the same standard? Are black Ghettos racist? Are Middle Eastern Ghettos racist? Is India racist? Is China racist?
not going to humor the ridiculous particulars of this thought exercise. i hold everyone to the same ethical standards regardless of ethnicity/race. if a black person doesnt want white people living in their community, that's racist. if a white doesnt want chinese in their community, that's racist. if an arab man doesnt want indians in his community, that's racist.

and id just like to point something out to you.

America and every other Western country is predominately white (White people, White language, White morals, White culture, White technology, and so on)
this train of thought reflects a severe lack of knowledge/critical comprehension of history and multiculturalism. your impotent rhetoric doesnt do your argument any favors and it makes you seem like an ignorant white supremacist.

and, yknow, the "their own goddamn countries" thing is pretty funny, considering how white people kind of took america from its original, non-white inhabitants by force.

The reality of thousands of innocent people raped, shot, imprisoned, and systematically disenfranchised are less important than the suggestion that a single White person might be complicit in a racist system.

this line stuck out to me. there isnt a whole lot in the article that i havent already heard elsewhere/dont already agree with, but i think this puts a fairly fine point on the whole thing, despite being worded rather carelessly.

in order to reform the system, those who implicitly benefit from its existence must acknowledge the system's biases. once the citizenry at large is aware of the problem, it must necessarily be challenged. we cannot reform the system if we continue to pretend that its biases do not exist.

instead of shitposting, how about giving your opinion here and trying to stimulate some discussion? you're smart enough to actually contribute to this, but you're actively choosing to trivialize the OP and not to participate. you may as well not have posted at all.

superman is a bad example OP.

Superman is a perfect example.

Because the example is already made for Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark. Their power is money and intelligence. There are lots of wealthy people who have both, and they don't do shit to protect anyone but themselves.
uhhh... whatever you say kiddo.

Then again, Superman doesn't really have the power to cause total extinction, does he?

The most powerful thing he has is the power to turn back time, by flying around the world a bunch of times. So he could do that until he reaches back to the Archean Eon, and kill the first prokaryotes.
if superman appeared on the planet right now he would be able to kill all of us no problem. he's ridiculously overpowered.

seems to me that there's a decent balance between libs and cons, but representation within each individual thread might be skewed based on the topic/user availability/interest.

i wonder who our moderates are.

Do you disagree with the fact that if you're not a theist, you're an atheist? It's in the definition of the word. Just tell me whether or not you agree with that so I can know whether or not to waste anymore time ITT.
are you retarded? of course i know the difference between theism and atheism. you're assuming that those who dont affiliate with a particular religion are not theists. you do not have to belong to a religion to be a theist.

and id suggest you take a few steps back. ive been civil thus far but you're beginning to act like an ignorant troglodyte and if this continues i will no longer humor you.
Whatever.
id like you to seriously consider the things ive told you instead of simply walking away without learning anything.
and people in hell want iced water
how droll. it's rather unbecoming of you to refuse my rational advice. of course, you have a personal right to remain ignorant- enjoy it.

there's also deists

iirc, "theists" are people who believe in an established religion that is recognized by the government and shit
whereas deists just believe in some nondescript god

my parents are deists--i wouldn't call them theists
theism is just a belief in a deity at the most fundamental level. deism is a form of theism.
