She did porn too
Steroids made her clit look super gross. It's like a pierced micropenis.

Prince contracted HIV in the 90s. Apparently it was full blown AIDS by the time it took him. He took his medication properly for a long time, but recently got into (probably) the Jehovahs Witnesses, and apparently his religious friends were telling him that God had cured his AIDS, so he stopped taking his meds and started slowly dying.

It's most definitely an implicit approval of his person.
Not necessarily.

thats a solid video; he makes good points and i pretty much agree completely. i already addressed this sort of; i think the issue of representing "heroes" (i like that he used it in the classical sense and i do think the term is applicable to jackson in this context) on currency is distinct from things like artistic monuments. for instance, i dont think the stone mountain monument should be sandblasted. i just think its a bit odd to have genocidal maniacs like jackson immortalized on symbols of value. i think we can memorialize him and properly contextualize his actions without associating his likeness with money/prosperity/value/grams of weed/what have you.
That's a fair enough view.

also, apparently hes just moving to the back of the bill. tubman on the front and a slaveowning murderer on the back. weird.
Now that is pretty weird... have we ever had portraits on both sides of a circulated note before?
I dunno, apparently they're doing double portraits for the women on the other bills too or something like that.

If you held everyone in the 1800s to today's standards, history textbooks would be blank.
No they wouldn't. We can censure the history of violence and hatred without erasing it. We can also choose not to celebrate those who exercised violence and hatred.

1632
im of the opinion that just about everyone currently immortalized on american coins and dollars needs to be replaced.
This is ridiculous. You don't start changing historical artifacts and memorials to suit the social climate of the time. For better or worse, those we honor through currency and names on buildings were important figures of the nation.
their stories should be taught to the people within their contexts. we shouldnt celebrate genocidal maniacs like jackson by spreading their image around via currency. this isnt like sandblasting the memorial on stone mountain. youre retarded.
I'm retarded? I'm not the one who sincerely thinks having someone's representation on a government artifact means the government condones what they did. We have an officially maintained Robert E. Lee memorial, because he was a big part of a huge, defining moment in our country's history. Andrew Jackson is no different.

There's no difference between a representation on a government bill and representation on a government memorial. If you think one necessitates acceptance of the person as a whole, then the other would also have to.
It's most definitely an implicit approval of his person. And yes, you are retarded, I dunno why you asked.

:/
What? Do you think I should praise you for saying something stupid?

1634

I had to learn everything about Jackson outside of school.
Seriously?

Welcome to the broken education system in California.

Just saw this reported on CNN now. I can't believe this shit is actually happening. This is like a horrible nightmare.
how is it like a nightmare?

We're erasing history. Nobody is going to remember who Jackson is anymore. Especially the new generation. We already knew who Tubman was in Elementary School, but we never really taught about Jackson.

I had to learn everything about Jackson outside of school.
jackson is still taught in american history courses in high school and college. no one is going to forget about him you moron.

Why do you have to insult me? I wasn't insulting you. And people wonder why I insult people.
I said that because you're a fucking idiot, because what you said was stupid as fuck and had no basis in reality. No one wonders why you insult people.

their stories should be taught to the people within their contexts, properly. in academic contexts and through popular history media. we shouldnt celebrate genocidal maniacs like jackson by spreading their image around via currency. this isnt like sandblasting the memorial on stone mountain, either. youre retarded.

Just replace her with Abraham Lincoln on the $5. He already has the penny.
no its nice to be able to kick jackson in the balls by removing him from the $20

Why should we remove Jackson from the $20 banknote exactly? Wasn't he one of our most important presidents?
he engaged in genocidal actions against the indigenous peoples of north america. his significance re: our nation's history is honestly irrelevant in this case- we shouldnt spread the image of such a horrible person around in a positive manner by immortalizing his likeness on a symbol of value. is he the only bad person on our currency? no. im of the opinion that just about everyone currently immortalized on american coins and dollars needs to be replaced.

Who do you propose we replace them with?
they can put a bunch of big dragon dildos on the currency for all i care.

Did you just jump into the middle of the discussion? Your comment will only make this all go in a loop. I'm not saying living paycheck to paycheck is good, I'm saying it's not as common place as Chally is making it be and it's not as difficult to break out of it as he's implying. But thanks for missing the whole point of what I'm saying.

tell that to everyone living paycheck to paycheck, working their ass off for someone who doesnt care about their prosperity, worrying if theyll be able to pay their bills every month.
its extremely difficult to break out of poverty, especially if it affects your people perpetually (see: blacks and natives).

"In 2014, the official poverty rate was 14.8 percent. There were 46.7 million people in poverty. Neither the poverty rate nor the number of people in poverty were statistically different from the 2013 estimates."
https://www.census.gov/hhes/www/poverty/about/overview/

46 million people doesn't sound like a low enough number that I shouldn't be concerned.

The problem here is you feel that anything less than over-the-top living is somehow very little. You don't need to make six digits to live comfortably or happily. Obviously more money will make getting better living easy, but you're not automatically poor just because you're not in a six digit bracket.

Right, so the majority of people need to be "reasonable" (AKA be content with very little) while a select few live like kings.

Found John C. Calhoun.

He literally founded your party.
i dont belong to any political parties? you're gonna have to do better than that kiddo.

1645
If you really disapprove of Jackson, you might want to consider keeping him on the $20 bill. The man killed the national bank, he hated the idea of a government bank, and now here he is on a $20 Federal reserve note. Do you honestly think he would be upset being removed from it?

no its nice to be able to kick jackson in the balls by removing him from the $20
i dont care, i would just prefer that we not stamp his image on the $20.
