rights are granted by the government in exchange for paying taxes and following the law. Breach these terms and you begin to lose the protection of granted rights.
Unspook yourself already, Class.
Civil rights are granted by the government. Human rights are granted by existing.
Human rights are arbitrary and based in the relative moral standings of your surrounding culture.
apologize for police brutality some more plz its so hot

No, human rights are literally inherent in the concept of pain-capable intelligent life. No different to how animal rights are inherent in pain-capable unintelligent life. Neither can be stripped, no matter what the human or animal does.
Animal rights are an even bigger spook because they can't even recognize or comprehend the rights bequeathed upon them.
neither can human babies, are rights for babies a joke

I don't know, I have little hopes for the DCEU.

EU?
thats the official name for their shared movie universe, "DC Extended Universe"

YouTube

is it just me or does the tone seem kind of...off?

Because it seems like a goofy Avengers-type movie, completely abandoning the darker, serious tone they set for their previous movies?
there were plenty of light-hearted moments in bvs

DS games don't run very well on mobile, though. GBA I would definitely like to see make an appearance on iOS and Android.
there have been GBA emulators for android and ios for years. ios is much harder to get a working emu however.

Not going to defend the DNC here, but is anyone surprised that they were against Sanders from the start? Do they somehow think the RNC doesn't have similar emails against Trump?
a carpetbagger who joined a year ago out of convenience or hillary, who has been working with the dems for decades.. easy decision for the DNC

Man, at the end I was really expecting a display of Aquaman's powers. I mean Bruce says 'I hear you can talk to fish', leading into something awesome to show what he can REALLY do, but then... cut to black?
hes gonna throw a shark at him

Why would you want to see Mama Murphy nude?
she's got a weird model, i notice a few other NPCs like that doctor lady at the end of the covenant quest have the same model too. take their clothes off and they look stringy as fuck, like slendermen who look like people.

you can live by the admirable guidelines you see in the faith without actually drinking the kool-aid, you know.

explain what you mean?
i mean that you dont have to convert to a religion in order to improve your life, you can simply follow the tenants that appeal to your moral and ethical sensibilities. an example would be, say, an atheist who follows certain buddhist teachings, perhaps they practice zen meditation or another aspect of the tradition.

and what if the tenants fall under the jurisdiction of a certain religion.
you're gonna need to elaborate on that

I'm just wondering how much screentime everyone is going to get cause this movie is gonna have a ton of characters

There's some hard solid proof that at least Slipknot is going to survive until Justice League and be a major character.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinematic/comments/4thu0m/proof_that_slipknot_is_the_7th_justice_league/
dude thats a shitpost lol, did you really take that seriously?

No one loves Mew anymore?

Don't go jumping to conclusions, Mew is my favorite Pokemon. Gotta plush of Mew in one of my Amazon wishlists.

OT: Nintendo wont do that because that would be too fucking smart, just like Sony wont release digital versions of every popular PS2 title for PS3 and 4 download. Even Nintendo's NES classic isn't all that great in the sense that it was designed for mostly playing with a buddy and you only have a small handful of games in the list that are RPGs for a single person.

Nintendo accidentally stumbled on a gold mine with Pokemon Go, but a fool and his money are soon departed, as the saying goes.
parted
