It's better with the Grunt Funeral skull.
Cowbell + Grunt Funeral is probably one of the most fun ways to end your own life in Halo.

The Flood / Re: "2,000-HP American Hypercar Uncovered For The First Time"« on: August 14, 2015, 02:56:09 AM »
I wouldn't call it America's first Hypercar. A bit pointless to bring up an issue with such a loose term, but wouldn't the SSC Ultimate Aero and Tuatara, and everything with performance equal to or greater than the Mosler MT900S count?
Also, I'd trust that anybody who can afford a car with such ridiculous performance would at least be smart enough to only drive it fast at a Trackday, where there's at least some element of safety in case of a High speed crash. Fuck it shits me when some cashed up star wrecks a Ferrari because of really irresponsible driving on public roads. May as well just cut out the dealership altogether and burn a pile of money whilst breaking a few bones with a sledgehammer. 8255
The Flood / Re: PSA: To all drivers« on: August 14, 2015, 02:38:34 AM »
If anybody Tailgates you when you're at or above the speed limit, they should automatically have their licenses revoked. In Australia at least, Tailgating is illegal. It's like they're completely ignoring the possibility of the car in front needing to perform an emergency stop (uncommon, but still a possibility), the weight of the cars (a highway-speed impact is more than enough to cause a severe injury), and, you know, the fact that if you're proven to have been in the wrong in a Car collision, Insurance ain't paying Jack.
I usually do the speed limit, and slow down by 10 km/h to let an overtaking car pass easier than normal. If I'm doing the speed limit, and someone is sitting right on my rear bumper, I like to play a game where I pump the brakes very lightly so I don't actually slow down, but in quick succession, so the brake lights flash on and off quickly. Usually the driver will shit themselves at that point and back off :^) 8257

Elites (namely spec-ops and Zealots) tend to drop a lot of grenades after dying, and a single explosion can result in a lot of humor to be had.I remember killing a Spec Ops Elite that dropped around 10 Plasma Grenades on the ground when he died. I swear they gave them that big a drop exclusively for the hilarity of a 10-plasma grenade explosion. The player can't even carry more than 4, and nobody goes back in levels to resupply Grenades, because they're really easy to find as you go along. 8260

I use the Gamepad's screen a fair bit. It seems to have better resolution than my TV anyway, and I can play when my Mum or Sister are watching something on TV. It's well appreciated, despite being a gimmick.
I also love the ridiculous compound effect of explosions in Halo CE. Elites (namely spec-ops and Zealots) tend to drop a lot of grenades after dying, and a single explosion can result in a lot of humor to be had. Road Rash 64 also had unrealistically forceful collisions, which often led to a comically high jump after hitting a truck. 8262

Gaming / Re: I'm thinking about getting into the pokemon games. Where should I start?« on: August 13, 2015, 05:03:08 AM »Why not the first games? They just feel really dated to play, and I know that this really impacts some people's enjoyment of the overall game. Aside from this, they're still fun. Realistically you could start wherever, Gen 3 is just the first one that I had a proper playthrough on. I'm sure a lot of people will recommend the ones they played first. 8266
Gaming / Re: Halo 4 really is a sloppily made game« on: August 13, 2015, 04:58:36 AM »
All of the Halos have their fair share of half-assery. Reach, for instance, has several places where they didn't bother rendering Terrain, visible in cutscenes, and in places easily accessible to the player. The scripted animation where a transport craft gets hit by a Corvette's weapon is also out of sync, as the explosion happens like half a second before the Plasma Torpedo even hits. There's probably some canon explanation for it, like radiant heat from the Torpedo causing the explosion, but it still looks wrong.
In my opinion, Halo 4's art style just looks bad, too. 8267

I say any of the Gen 3 games, specifically Emerald or Fire Red. You'll need a Game Boy Advance (although later handhelds might run it too) if you're not interested in running an Emulator.
Or you could start on whatever the most recent release is. I haven't really played after B/W. 8268

If I don't have it within 2 days I might just forfeit. Edit: Just got a friend to loan me a copy. Fook yee 8275
