The Flood / Re: ITT: List three subjects that bore you to tears« on: October 01, 2015, 11:25:55 PM »
From what I remember of Year 12:
-English -Music -Physics. The subjects themselves were alright, but a mix of poor Teacher engagement, utter shit-tier specific Topics, and unhelpful textbooks all contributed to a loss in motivation that resulted in me getting less than half the grades I potentially could have. 7239

I assume he meant exiting the driver seat whilst still in motion, and quickly pressing the action button again to operate the turret without even touching the ground. 7242

IIRC I was unplanned, but I was never given any reason to think they resented it.

tbh I'd probably just cook like 20 bowls worth, and have it without bothering with any toppings.

Gaming / Re: His name is John Cena....« on: October 01, 2015, 09:54:05 PM »I guess it takes a spartan to kill a spartan. Also I think atmospheric re-entry is a different kind of damage that is deflected by the shields. It's pressure and heat rather than blunt force from another superhuman. With enough force, if you bend a human's neck in the wrong direction no matter what is strengthening it, it will break. I guess another augmented human in a supersuit is enough force. But the whole point of that sort of throw is to let gravity do all the work. It should be relatively harmless to a Spartan. In the end, it's only a flashy animation that's designed to wow the younger players. I don't really care that they use animations that would be less deadly IRL than they actually look. 7250

The Flood / Re: How come people can't just talk to their crushes?« on: October 01, 2015, 09:24:09 AM »Well it's pretty weird if you just randomly started talking to someone who you have no reason to talk to. Eh, I think it's more nervousness from the person trying to start something. I've never thought a stranger approaching me and striking up a conversation to be weird. 7252

The Flood / Re: "omg sep7 is going to have like a billion new users b/c of this!!!"« on: October 01, 2015, 05:13:33 AM »Yeah, that's what I'm wondering too. 99% just seems like such a conveniently high number that it's pretty suspicious in my eyes. What counts as an active member? Someone who posts daily? Weekly? Are people who just lurk and spend time online without posting counted? Does it only count public forums or also private groups? I'm just going to assume it was fabricated, or at least heavily exaggerated either way for convenience, unless some screenshot graphing the Activity of accounts linked to Destiny vs. Non-linked ones gets posted. If they were able to keep track of post count on that sort of thing, then I'd like to see an explanation to the site's state over the past (nearly) 3 years, as the site has disabled post count tracking, rendering add-ons that kept track of that sort of thing useless. Surely they wouldn't just internalize Post count? Look at me, worrying about a board that I shouldn't care about. What a dumb dumb. 7259
