ME is one of the biggest game franchises I haven't played, that I've been meaning to get around to.

>Complaining that solar cells might cause cancer when we literally live surrounded by cancer causing shit already.
ikr, it's infuriating as fuck.

Speaking of which what was that recent community project that completely redesigned the campaign and added a fuck ton of weapons like the DMR and BR called again?
The Silent Cartographer: Evolved by CMT. The SPv2 Campaign is also really neat, but rushed after the second mission. Keep an eye out for SPv3 because it's going to be the sex when it releases.

I tried to download it during the Beta, but had an error saying my Graphics Card drivers needed to be updated. Even after updating it I still got the same error message. Did it not install correctly or is my Graphics Card just that out of date?

It's non-news by this point and only like 5 people care about Halo CE, but I'm pretty pleased fam. 1.5 is basically a community created Map Pack that was ported to the Xbox version of Halo (and never released on PC for some reason) that focused specifically on Competitive gameplay like a few of the vanilla maps - Something that's rarely done in Custom Edition. The makers of the map have stayed true to Halo CE's competitive Multiplayer by using the weapon spawn timing to direct the flow of each game, which has been overlooked in a lot of Map releases. Most of the maps' gameplay ends up being too slow, unbalanced as hell, or a spawn camping shitfest that's fun for exactly 1 person on the server, even in gametypes they were designed for (I'm looking at you, Coldsnap, Extinction and Bigass). The ones that are reasonably competitive often get overlooked because of a lack of gimmicks (people love their reskins/super mega le teleport riddled blood gulch with 99999 sniper rifles xDDDDD), but there seems to be a bit of a following with this map pack's porting on Halomaps.org. Even with Halo PC's broken netcode interfering with online matches and altering the weapon spawn times by 6 seconds, I still hope to get a LAN community happening in my area for some competitive matches.

Some like to post their reactions to episodes while making it look like it's the actual episode. Equally annoying but easy to spot after the first or second.
Can't a guy watch One Punch Man in peace?

http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2015/12/14/us-town-rejects-solar-farm-because-it-will-suck-all-sun The North Carolina town of Woodlawn rejected a proposal by the Strata Solar Company to build a farm near the town after locals expressed serious opposition.
At a community meeting opposition was raised to the idea of a solar plant because it would “suck up all the energy from the sun” in the words of local man Bobby Mann, reported the local paper.
"You’re killing your town,” he said. “All the young people are going to move out,” Mr Mann said.
Another local woman named Jane Mann who was identified as a retired school teacher expressed genuine fears plants in the area would not get enough sunlight to perform photosynthesis if the solar project was approved.
She also said no one had proved solar panels didn’t cause cancer.
“I want to know what’s going to happen,” she said. “I want information. Enough is enough. I don’t see the profit for the town.
“People come with hidden agendas,” she said. “Until we can find if anything is going to damage this community, we shouldn’t sign any paper.”
The council voted 3-1 against the proposal and then agreed to place a moratorium on future farms.
I'm confused by the Plant statement, does Jane Mann expect the Solar Cells to cover most of the farms' plantations in the area, or does an ex-school teacher actually not know how Light works? I feel sorry for her students either way. The Cancer argument is a bit of a joke too. Nothing has been reported about people who live in close proximity to Solar Cells in the regard of overall health, and it's not like Coal-fired plants and Cars without Catalytic Converters (that are still reasonably common) are making air any better for one's lungs anyway. Thoughts?

Also those videos that claim to be an episode of a series but are just 20 minute slide shows with a link to an obviously malware-riddled hosting site are really annoying.

It's the sequel to Prometheus, which I really enjoyed
Oh, haven't seen that one but I remember a bit of hype surrounding it tbh. I'll have to go back and watch it. I do remember thinking Alien 3 and Resurrection were fan fiction levels of stupid in how they (tried to) revive the series tho.

Haven't really thought that one through tbh. At the moment I'm set on TV/Game character names but I know that's beyond cheesy.

tbh I thought all OG Xbox and 360s had shitty drives. Halo 3 and Guitar Hero 5 have a 50% chance of being read if I haven't installed them to the HDD. I hope the XB1's tray has a better shelf life.

Jesus.
I have a lot more respect for what goes into the balancing process now, considering how such a small change can make a character OP in an instant.
A character that can 8 second combo to 200% would be such bullshit to face. I can't imagine how much time would be spent on playtesting trial and error for stuff like this, especially in regards to making sure nobody discovers some broken character exploit in the long term.

I only knew about the expansion pack for Majora's Mask and the memory pack on the controller for saving games. What else is there?
The 64 Disc Drive (IIRC there's no emulator for it either) was a Japan-only release with 15,000 units shipped, and had like 8-10 games, some of which worked to expand on existing games. You can pick one up for between $750 and $2,500 online. If you find a few slots on the bottom of an old Nintendo Console that you never used and wondered about, chances are they were intended to have a Disc Drive plug in to the bottom.

I couldn't hold attention for a full episode as a kid, and I never understood why most of my friends thought the movies were so Godlike. Even when I watched both Trilogies last year I didn't like them that much. I can't put my finger on it though.

After that, we met "Zelda" (I don't think it's her, for some reason. Maybe she's just young, and the "adult" Zelda I'm thinking of will appear later.)
Yeah, I was a bit confused for a similar reason in the game too. My conjecture from a similar point in the game, but minor spoilers ahead too I expected some form of time lapse in the game because I'd only seen Adult Link in Smash bros. and was confused as to why you started as a Kid.

I'm so glad mine had one
I like the novelty of having extra shit to add to your console, but fuck me the N64 is annoying with the amount of peripherals/add-ons if you want to play certain games. R.I.P the wallets of people like me who want to play the F-Zero X Expansion kit. Must suck for people who want to play the Four Swords games too.
