That could work, but then again I haven't played Halo 5 yet so I don't know how the DMR actually is in that game.

I'm just going off of my Hemorrhage experience from Reach.
tbh it has less ammo and does less damage to vehicles from what I recall. Azumarill probably knows the exact number of shots it takes to kill each vehicle.

A wide open map like Blood Gulch wouldn't be fun to play on because of the DMR's ridiculous range and damage it does to vehicles.
Have it only spawn in 2 areas every 60 seconds = problemo solved?

Gaming / Re: The hardest boss you've ever fought?
« on: February 08, 2016, 03:15:23 AM »
Thunderbird & Shadow Link from Zelda II were pretty intense, I guess, but only if you don't know how to beat them.
To me, a truly difficult boss is one that remains challenging even after you've mastered their strategy.
Is there a way to beat Dark Link outside crouching in the corner and continuously stab spamming? On a similar note, it annoys me when half the Zelda countdowns for hardest levels either exclusively use 3D Zeldas, or have Lakebed/Water Temple as #1. Shit's more of a long grind than an actual "O shit this is my 500th attempt" tbh.

In 2012/13 I downloaded some Pokedex app on my iPod to help me get through a Japanese version of B/W and I ended up reading each generation's description of most of the Pokemon. Holy fuck there are some dark stories in there.

It's all well and good to piss on Football and cite current groups that could better use the Money, but it's wasted hate tbh, and a tad hypocritical if you personally aren't making a consistent effort to help others in need/have your major life goal to end all poverty. On top of that, it looks like you're just exaggerating your disinterest so you have an excuse to shit on as many people as possible, your YouTube video has me convinced that you're nowhere near as negatively geared as you'd like to have us think. We all do that at some point so fair enough.

A better criticism of Football (and Elite Sports in general) would be directed towards Over-Competitive Parents and Coaches at the grassroots level, the risk of fucking up an Athlete's development due to an overtraining injury, or (in some cases) fucking over some kid with world championship/olympic ambitions and work ethic because he refuses to bribe Doping Inspectors while shortening his lifespan by 20 years just to make a team.

I know you're not going to stop with threads like these whenever a major sporting event is on, but almost all of the spectators have grown up with a Sporting culture of some kind, if you're hoping to better understand the mindset behind it. Since early in School, people have acquired an interest in Football simply because it's popular to the older kids/they were nudged in that direction by their parents. It's simply cool to like, and the Ads on TV are mostly marketed to gather hype for a major event. Chuck on Sirius by the Alan Parsons project, a highlight reel of people absolutely burying themselves, and some expressive side lighting and the only people who won't get excited are the ones who have the mindset of "I absolutely refuse to let myself enjoy this." e.g: You.

To finish up, I'm gonna quote Luci from a while ago when a similar debate flared up. I kept it around because a lot of my Facebook friends absolutely love to bash it to look edgy.

Quote
Why do people feel the need to speak so loudly against something a shit ton of people like? It doesn't make you special or more cool that you "reject" the popular form of media. If anything it shows you're trying too hard.

Let people enjoy what they want to enjoy and don't take a shit on their parade. It doesn't hurt you. You don't have to dislike something and feel the need to slam your flag down and proclaim why you don't.

I'm not a fan of Walking Dead at all but I'm not going to see a die hard fan and say "Oi, your show sucks. Feel bad you like something I don't", because it's something he's passionate about and enjoys.

Tl;dr - get over it, no one cares

Bayonetta player made it to Grand Finals. Reset the bracket.

Lost game 5 because a Mario used Up smash 3 times in a row and he walked into the last one.
tbh I just want to see someone win a tourney against ZSS' Up air > Up air > Boost Kick by landing a rest or KO punch just before the last hit connects fam. Shit would be fucken hype

AFKers/ragequitters/those people who 8v1 a guy because their autism prevents them from leaving/changing teams where the option is available are pretty much a constant once a game's population largely dies.
