Smh I swear this level can be done in under 15 minutes, maybe 10 with optimised routing and no mistakes, but I spent a whole2 hours with it.

I died at 96 notes because I thought I missed a group in the engine room. Turned out they were in the bridge and I died repeatedly (like 50-60 times, no exaggeration) for no good reason. Got to 76 and yanked the controller by accident, crashing the console. Died 30-50 more times before I finally completed it.

I wanna make engine room my bitch and lay out constant world record splits for that segment.

Yeah I’m thankful for the option of categories, it really depends on the game for me. SMB for example, looks like a fun (if kinda crazy) technical run where I’d have no qualms with the current accepted routes.

I’ve been getting into speedrunning a little bit lately. I resent a few of the bigger skips because it feels like you’re just avoiding playing the game, but a few of the tricks in Halo CE skip the most tedious parts of the game and are pretty fun to pull off.

I just sit on my phone browsing whatever app all day and do nothing. I lost my old job from a 1 month license suspension for speeding and my other job is only during the middle 6 months of the year so I have nothing to do but job hunt, and I don’t even do that. I need to be more creative tbh

nah I actually drink maybe once a month at most, and even then it’s like 4-6 standard drinks and a quiet night. Truth be told I think a lack of social activity is a pretty big factor and if I went out and drank more it could actually help

Ya, definitely more obvious and more of an issue than I initially thought, but I’m not too worried. It honestly feels like a change of schedule and sticking to basic plans - basically just acting like a neurotypical person - would be enough to get me out of the rut for good. on a few occasions. I have made peace with the possibility of losing control at high speed. My mum and I have swapped cars though, so I don’t see myself doing it in her car.
