Maybe move out of home and do some aesthetic mods to my car. Keep my current employment and study online.

Boy I sure do love losing five games in a row literally because I either have dipshit teammates, AFK teammates, or splitscreen teammates that must still be playing on a 17 inch CRT; or some variation of all three.
Do we have a Sep7 Halo Christmas playnight?
all 5 of us

Who is everyone maining currently or wanting to use the most? I'm maining Fox still but so far feel I need another character for coverage because the mechanics of this game still feel pretty strange to me. Liking Yink, wanna use Mewtwo as well but he and Fox are equal in weight and I don't need 2 featherweights dying to throws at 50.
I’m strangely liking mario in this iteration, he just feels right (lack of S-tier big boi taunt aside). Playing a bit of Ganon/Sheik, too.

At this stage it feels like I can do no wrong with character selection as long as I keep with them, everybody I’ve played so far feels super solid.

Up + A, I read in a guide that using the right stick for tilts was better
Yeah a lot of pros like that setup over smash stick. Ultimate seems to like eating inputs online, and the angles and timing for even basic stuff like smash attacks are pretty strict and worth polishing in training mode.

I cannot perform up smash attacks for the life of me. Am I disabled?
it can be hard to get the angle on the control stick right. Do you use up + a or c-stick?

You’ve burnt yourself out, man. Try taking a break for a while. 3 times a week, imagination only for a month.

Do you know if those janky rest combos I keep seeing online are actually true combos by any chance?
I’m sure some lab monsters have already worked it out, probs DI dependent at this stage

Use O and 0 in their correct context for a week

Basically just use whatever layout comes most naturally to you, and tweak your movement drills (if you feel up to the grind) based on what you feel you’re stuffing up and getting punished for in game the most.

I can’t stress enough how much getting caught up in semantics like your controller layout and movement options can turn the game into an unfun pile of trash.

Do you use that hitbox smashbox for Ultimate?
i haven’t got one, I’m p sure it’s still in the pre-order phase. If my hand condition declines then I’ll switch off GC controllers for all smash games tho.
