I think this game selects various accounts to actively shit on and prevent from winning even once in their entire existence. So far I've:
-Lost a final of tail tag to a guy grabbing me from 6 counties away with 1 second left
-Lost a 1v1 on jump showdown to grabbing a guy to hold him from jumping (after being grabbed myself), only for the pole to spike me directly into the slime while sending him upwards at a 45 degree angle
-Will never win Hexagon havoc because I straight up don't know how it works and everyone is a sweaty duke master who's only goal in life is to make sure I get eliminated first (I can accept this in isolation but it's actually so rage inducing with everything else)
-Losing consistently on Fall Mountain to it registering people behind me grabbing the crown first (yes I jump once it's low enough and I'm holding Shift)
-I play on PC and there are hackers in my lobby at least 3 times a day
-Frequent disconnects from servers at the start of the final round

Honestly if this trend of bullshit cheesy Ls keeps up and I remain winless by the time I reach max level I probably won't even bother with Season 2. It's actually impossible to enjoy a game where every single small factor you can't control is consistently tipping the scales ever so slightly against you, so no strategy you ever employ under any circumstances will ever be enough to actually win, ever.

Anyway I love this game who's down to play I'll add your steam

I used to be a semi regular on zeldadungeon. It’s more traditional in terms of layout but offers a bit of customisation on the background.

even if my brain/hands could process melee, i don't even have a machine that i think could run it

otherwise i definitely would
Depends. What specs are your PC? I think to emulate Melee you only need a good CPU, and even then you can run it on lower resolution if it’s not up to the job.

Anybody play Melee? Slippi.gg has replaced standard Melee Netplay and the rollback netcode is actually pretty fun, even on wifi with a bad connection (previously it would look like a slide show). If anybody wants to try friendlies sometime hit me up

Also this can be done on either Wii or Wii-U, but if you install Homebrew channel to Wii menu and put CTGP on an SD card, it’s a really cool mod for vanilla Mario Kart Wii. Shit has custom tracks and includes this option called item rain that’s just wild

The only SUV I would want to own is the Jeep Trackhawk because of how batshit crazy it is. Someone at Chrysler woke up one day was like "Fuck it, let's put the Hellcat engine in a Jeep."
https://youtu.be/xWsuybejDLA here’s an mf running 9s on a street driven SUV. Rich people are wildin

The Flood / Re: blog time (tl;dr warning)
« on: July 11, 2020, 09:49:30 AM »
So quick update, I’ve actually been feeling somewhat normal and way less zoned out/panicky. When I do get anxious I find I can bring out whatever’s causing it that particular instance and unpack it to myself for a few minutes before going about my day (where before it would pretty much ruin the rest of the day).

It’s so strange being able to organise my thoughts and not only have a plan for my day - but to follow up and do the things I want without intense mental effort to get my ass out of bed. I haven’t discussed much of my personal life outside of this thread before, but this has been a huge issue for me since pretty much mid 2013. That’s not entirely ironed out just yet, but I think getting comfortable with my skeletons in the closet (fear of death, loss of control, etc.) has really helped to take a mental load off.

My partner has been extremely supportive through this and I think I owe a lot of my improvements to her too.

The Flood / Re: What shows have you been watching lately?

I went back and rewatched Dragon Ball Z abridged. Season 1 was very myspace era humour but by the Android Saga it was basically a way more concise and funny redub. Really the only annoying thing is the VA for Goku, Gohan and Krillin. Super enjoyable tbh

So Melbourne went into lockdown again (no travel permitted aside from essentials). I’m about an hour away, but the parts I was planning on picking up are there. While it’s still an option for me to go down there I’ve messaged the sellers and they’re holding onto the parts for me so I can collect after lockdown.

Just been doing car shit lately, trying to get through uni and trying not to die from headaches after staring at screens too long
