The hype made the reviewers so giddy that they didn't even think about the incoherent story, repetitive missions, and bullshit micro transactions when they rated the game, and if they did, it had little-no impact on the score.
Halo 5 is literally getting the same treatment, except in MGSV's case, there is a legitimately good game underneath its story.

There's a legitimately good game under the weak story in h5 as well. Combat and multiplayer is some of the best in the series.

Instead of focusing on what matters in a shooter, Joe focuses on req packs for 15 minutes and (from my gameplay experience) falsely calculates the amount of time needed to earn a gold pack.
I've heard that it is a pretty accurate calculation, but I don't have any means to back that up.
The "omg we need to save gaming" mentality that many youtubers and reviewers have is starting to get a bit annoying, not because they are wrong, but because they go into every game with predetermined review scores based on hype, popularity, and whether or not the developer has gamer cred.

Sure some reviewers may do that (IGN), but c'mon. If Joe was going to be a fake he would have done more shady shit a long time ago. I didn't go into Halo 5 with a predetermined rating, but this game was absolute trash, even by Halo standards.

Also going to point out that Joe says "If you do good you'll get maybe 900 points per match". I guess Joe's definition of doing good is a .2 k/d because that's what shows up in the background. A normal warzone round for me nets about 2k req points.
It's funny because in his own footage he got over 3000 req points after a game. It's not like he was doing good either
Don't forget that the req packs generally give you multiple xp and req point boosts per pack.

Ultimately, every reviewer has an agenda. And Angry Joe's agenda is to "bring the justice" and "expose" corruption in video games. That means giving AAA shooters poor scores, and rating every huge 9+.
There IS a place in gaming for AAA shooters and I think h5 does a good job filling that crack. Gameplay is top notch, multiplayer is fantastic, and while campaign didn't blow me away, its still incredibly enjoyable.

Just spam fire him anywhere. He's a bullet sponge but he goes down. His head takes damage though.
Try and use your team as distractions. If you can get a pillar between you and him, all the better as you can just hop to the other side when you need to reload
Also using a command on him will place a red marker on him so you can see where he is at all times.
I'm spamming him and it's still impossible to do with the smaller enemies. It doesn't matter where I go I'm getting fire from all sides. God forbid the fucking retards could have your shields recharge when you're sprinting in the campaign.
They 100℅ do recharge when you Sprint in campaign.
