Is there shit in the open world or is it a whole bunch of nothing?

There are plenty of mobs everywere, alot of them are huge. The  whole shit looks like Metroid: Jurasic Park. Items are littered everywhere too, although most of those items them seem to be low-grade materials or mundane quest shit.

Not sure what else is out there, I just started, although I've heard good things.
Nice

I love it. Best time of the year for me.

I love the music, the movies, the decorating, and the whole spirit. I get to see family, eat food, get presents, its great.

Fuck you if you think people are faking the happiness. I always feel genuinely cheery during the holiday, and I think most people do too.

Didn't really dig the first. Got probably around 5-10 hours into it before I called it quits. Combat was pretty decent but I'm just not into anime and JRPGs in general.

Can anyone explain to me what the point of ranking up and exp is? Just new cosmetics and such? And for the Req packs, I have about 17,000 points. Should I buy the gold one or what's the best thing to do?
Exp rank is really only for req packs and having a number next to your name.

Definitely go for gold packs.

Considering the PC platform alone makes more money than all of the consoles combined if say they do.
what is the relevance of this

people purchasing a game after they steal it does not undo the fact that they stole it
It might have considering they might not have played it before that.

Don't be so morally black and white. People who pirate games almost all the time would have never spent money on the said games. No sales would be lost.

And it's relevant because it's showing people spend money on PC. The only reason people don't pirate on console is because they can't. Not because they're better people.
Well to be fair, I would assume much of that money comes from microtransactions in LoL, Dota, CSGO, etc.

Consoles also have a lot of micro transaction heavy games.

Here's a handy dandy chart that breaks everything down.
True, but none are on the level of the steam marketplace

If you aren't willing to look at the video, then you aren't in a position to call it manipulated. Digital Foundry is a trusted group.

Fuck off, the X1 and PS4 are basically PCs now anyway
Which is a pretty good reason to get a PC

LOL no. Consoles are cheaper and for the same thing, if not better
I mean, yeah, if you want games that barely run on them.

A cheap-ish PC outperforms both consoles.

>Barely run

LOL. Thanks for confirming you don't know what you're talking about. I've yet to have a game on PS4 that "barely runs". They all run just fine.
I have a PS4 and an Xbone.

Games dropping below 30fps and running below 1080p for many games (and even dropping below 30fps when the games aren't even 1080p either) (keep in mind that it's 2015, too) is what I'd class as barely running.

They're pathetically underpowered.

What kind of stupid fucking games are you buying? NONE of my games drop below 60fps and there's NOTHING wrong with running a slight amount below 1080p.
There aren't that many games that are 60fps. It's still 30fps for most games.

TLoUR didn't even hold a stable 60fps. It also lowered other asset quality to get 60fps.
Tomb Raider DE didn't hold a stable 60fps on PS4. Runs at 30fps on Xbone.
TW3 drops below 30fps a lot on both consoles.
Fallout 4 drops below 30fps a lot on both consoles.
lol AC Unity
Rainbow 6 Siege drops below 60fps on both consoles. It runs at 30fps when playing against the AI instead of players.
Just Cause 3 drops below 30fps on both consoles
Halo 5 only keeps a stable 60fps at the sacrifice of other things.

I could go on.

Too bad none of these are true.

Yikes you're retarded. Literally all of them are true.

Except they're not and you have no proof of that. Fucking asshole, who's the retard now?
My proof is that I've owned an Xbox One for a year now, and every game has its crutch. Whether it has "dynamic resolution scaling", fps capped at 30, sub-1080p resolution, or just flat out bad texturing or lack of anti-aliasing. The hardware has really been struggling since the consoles debuted, and its only gotten worse.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iipDWbd6HNg but here's a video anyhow, of a budget computer running outdated hardware. It's playing Fallout 4 at consistently better framerate and higher graphical settings than either of the consoles.

Videos can be manipulated. I'm not watching that
Alright then don't try to argue with someone if you aren't willing to, uh, argue.

why not save the money and just get a pc?
This.

Really no need to own an x1 and a ps4.

Sure, blowout your wallet just to have better graphics and no friends to play with.

Fuck off, the X1 and PS4 are basically PCs now anyway

Sorry if I wasn't clear; I meant there is no need to own BOTH of them. They offer ridiculously similar experiences.

A pc will give you better visual fidelity, different genres (mmos, RTS are pretty much nonexistent on console), mods, etc.

It's more of a catch up on exclusives kind of thing. Me and my dad usually play Ratchet and Clank together a lot and we want to play the new ones.

Honestly, I want to get a PC but I don't really have space for one. I don't even have a desk, and I don't want to get a laptop. I'm just gonna wait until I'm in a better position for a PC. I'm not in a rush to get one, there's not that many games that aren't on console I desparately want to play right now; if I were to get one now, all I'd do is play Battlefront II XXL mode and mod the fuck out of Fallout and Skyrim. That and Starcraft 2; I've played it a lot at my friend's house and I really want to play it. I mean, I'm terrible at the multiplayer, but it's good fun regardless. I don't really like using M+K for shooters (I've only played stuff like Half-Life on my shitty laptop I have now) and using a controller would put me a disadvantage for multiplayer. Stuff like counterstrike doesn't really interest me too much.

Fair enough, but if you want to catch up, get a ps3 and save money.

You'll still be able to play Uncharted 1-3 and TLoU, but you'll also have:
-Killzone 1-3
-Infamous 1-2
-God of War
-The Jak and Dexter, Sly Cooper, and Ratchet and Clank HD collections
-The non remake Ratchet and Clank games
-Littlebigplanet
-Kingdom Hearts
-Any other Sony exclusives I'm missing

I got a used 320 gb ps3 and 5 games for $100 2 years ago, you could go even cheaper now.
