With all the expansions and shit, I don't think it's worth starting at this point.
and why would you think that?
Because on top of the subscription fees, you have to buy several expansion packs (I know they've made some of the older ones free), to play content that isn't relevant.
you have to buy exactly one expansion pack to play current content; all other xpacs are included in the base game. also, shrewd players do not have to pay their subscription fees anymore. blizzard essentially legalized the gold economy and offers 30 day subscription tokens on the store for $20 a pop; gold farmers buy these tokens, sell them on the auction house (they go for around 30-40k gold per 30 day sub on my server,) then turn around and flip a profit on the gold they make by flipping the tokens. once you get to max level and really get going it isnt very difficult for you to farm enough gold to keep yourself afloat without having to pay your sub fee.
also, just because content from vanilla, BC, wrath, cataclysm, and pandaland isnt current doesnt mean it isnt relevant. you can still experience the storylines, get gear from their content to transmogrify your gear to (say your current draenor gear is ugly: you can farm gear from wrath of the lich king and pay a very small amount of gold to make your draenor gear look like that wrath gear), earn titles/achievements/mounts/pets for their content, et cetera.
i understand that the older content may seem irrelevant to someone who doesnt actually play the game, but im telling you right now that it absolutely isnt irrelevant unless literally all you care about is current tier raiding and pvp.
I stand corrected I guess. Didn't realize they made all the previous expansions free, which is great. Still, I think gw2 is a worth a try simply because there's no entry fee.

With all the expansions and shit, I don't think it's worth starting at this point. Have you tried Guild Wars 2? The base game is completely free, and doesn't require a subscription. Free accounts have a few restrictions to avoid spam accounts and what not but if you buy HoT you upgrade to a non f2p account. If you haven't tried it out, I would. Gw2 is very anti bullshit towards stuff like microtransactions as well.

I played it. It was really generic, which is to be expected from a Tom Clancy game. All in all it was just really fucking boring.
-The gameplay brought nothing interesting to the table, and the enemy designs were repetitive and boring. -The story was bland -Felt like a walking simulator
It does look nice though.

Saw some gameplay of The Division and it just looks boring and uninteresting. I'm tired of seeing open-world games in New York already.
But I dunno, a few friends of mine want to get it so maybe I will pick it up. At least I'll get some enjoyment while playing with friends.
Are there a lot of open world games in New York? I can only think of gta 3/4 and those games are old.

I know its kinda too late in this thread, but I gotta say something.
I'm finally beginning to snap out of my depression after having one hell of a flashback. I realize that my life now is not as bad as it was 10 years ago.
I need to be careful not to relapse back into it, so I plan on seeing a psychologist.
That's great to hear. Speaking from my own experiences, it comes and goes, and each time it does you learn more about yourself and how to prevent it from happening.

I've never really heard anything negative about it. It seems like it was 2013's Witcher 3, in regards to reviews.
Critically, it was very well received, but a lot of people (some on this website) talk shit about it.

I'm playing through it and honestly i'm having fun. The story is as shit as it was when I first tried to play through it but everything else is really great, and damn does it look pretty on the PC.

You guys are ridiculous. Yes, the pizza shit is stupid. But a forge playlist and new gametype are confirmed to come out by the end of February, and I'm sure we'll learn more tonight.
Which should've been released with the game
Oh I totally agree, but at this point complaining is pointless. We know what's coming.

Agreed.
I'd rank it 2nd or 3rd as far as being a good competitive game goes.
Gaming in general or just amongst Halo titles? Because as far as I can tell it's not just a one gun sandbox which puts it ahead of every other main series Halo.
Oh just amongst halo. It would be #1 if it had better maps, oddball and koth, and no radar for competitive settings.

I'm sure it was a very exciting match filled with lots of memorable moments from the amazing Halo 5 game.
h5 is really really solid for competitive gaming actually.
Agreed. I'd rank it 2nd or 3rd as far as being a good competitive game goes.

4460 is not compatible with my Motherboard.
Yeah amd and Intel use different chipsets so you'll need to pick out a different mobo. Asrock m97 pro4 looks good.
